Time Is Flying By

Where has the time gone? It doesn't feel like two minutes ago since we found out I was pregnant. The pregnancy and this year as a whole has flown past in the blink of an eye, it's frightening! Time just seems to go by faster and faster as you get older.

There's just 16 days left until I start my Maternity Leave, just 29 days until my baby shower and finally just 64 days until my due date!

I wonder if he will arrive close to his due date? Will he will be early or late? Will I need to be induced or will I go into labour naturally? Will I be able to have the natural water birth? Will I be able to handle the pain? Will I be able to breastfeed? Will I be a good Mum? There are a thousand questions I keep asking myself and only time will tell.

I am so excited about what is just around the corner for us. Our lives will never be the same again and I am so ready for this! I can't wait to meet our boy!

  1. Aw good luck! So much to look forward to. I have a lot of the same questions going through my head at the moment. Although our little one is now 5 days late (and counting...) but the rest is still a big unknown! Exciting though :) x

  4. I can highly recommend ante natal classes if the service is available in your area. I found them very useful (and a tiny bit scary). I realised I didnt have a clue about what labour was really going to be like but I found out EVERYTHING and knew exactly what to expect in any scenario. Our boy came 6 days early. I had a straightforward delivery and managed on just gas & air, which I did not think was going to happen, lol! I wish you all the best for your remaining weeks & birth ofc :) xx

  5. Jenna! This is such a lovely blog! I am 26 and 25 weeks pregnant with my second boy. Number one is 18 months old. I had all of those questions too but everything worked out wonderfully. I did loads of pre birth reading and prep. One thing I did learn is that breastfeeding is a skill - to most it doesn't come naturally or feel natural but with the right support and lots of advice from the right people you can make breastfeeding work! Good luck! xx
