Tesco Baby Event

As a new Mum I am always trying to save money where I can and I am always on the look out for a bargain. It is crazy how much milk, nappies and wipes my little one goes through and they are just the basics! Then you have the bottles, clothes, toys, toiletries and maybe even organic baby products to think about. Baby's are very expensive!

This is why Baby Events are a Mummy's best friend. Not only do they have everything you need for your baby and toddler but you can find great products at just a fraction of the price. I recently took a trip to our local Tesco store to take advantage of their Tesco Baby Event. We stocked up on a ton of Pampers nappies and wipes which saved us money and they should last us a good month or two. I'm a little bit of a hoarder when it comes to nappies as I feel so much better when I know we have plenty in.

Noah is only 11 weeks old but I am already educating myself on weaning so that I am ready when the time comes. He has always been a hungry baby so I am hoping we will be able to wait out until the recommended 6 month mark to begin our weaning journey. I want to stick to milk for as long as possible because I know how beneficial it is to do so. Tesco have some great information on their website regarding nutrition and weaning which I found extremely useful and I am sure you will do to. There is also a competition on the website which is a once in a lifetime prize of a 7 day holiday to Disney World Florida. You have got to be in it to win it!

I made the decision that I want Noah to eat as organic as possible once weaning begins. I intend to make a lot of his purees myself but will also be stocking up on convenient ready made baby food for when we are out and about and when I am short on time. There are some great organic baby food brands on the market which I would happily feed my baby. I am so excited for when our weaning adventure begins and I will be blogging all about it. I'm not wishing our time away though, for now I will enjoy my little milk guzzling munchkin.

Have you been to the Tesco Baby Event yet? What did you buy?
