Review: Nabby Baby Monitor

A baby monitor is an essential that is on every new Mummy's list once she finds out she is pregnant. There is nothing more reassuring that being able to listen in on your baby especially in those early days. There are so many different baby monitors on the market these days and I found it all a little overwhelming. I was given a bulky BT baby monitor when I was pregnant and thought I would use that. I gave it a go and it was okay as it did the job. That was until I got my hands on a Nabby! When I was offered the opportunity to be one of the first people in the country to review this smart piece of tech I wouldn't of dreamt of saying no.

Nabby is a brand new and innovative baby monitor that has just hit the market here in the UK. The baby monitor links up with smart phones and tablets whether they be iphone or android.  Nabby is sleek and chic and fits into the palm of your hand. It looks gorgeous in any child's nursery too. There are no fiddly wires or bulky plugs and you charge it easily by just plugging it into your computer.

The first thing I did upon opening our Nabby was to download the free Nabby App which can be found in the App store or Google play. Then all I needed to do was to turn the monitor on, pop it beside my baby, connect the app to Nabby and I am good to go! As a self confessed gadget geek Nabby is perfect for me as I always have my phone in my hand. It's nice to know I can always check on Noah wherever I am in the house simply by checking my phone!

There are also a number of in app additions you can pay for, for a very reasonable cost at just 69p. Which include:

Sleep Timer - shows how long your baby has slept and tracks all sleep periods.
Listen Now - allows you to listen in on your baby at any moment. Click it and listen in.
Temperature - displays the room temperature where your baby is sleeping and you can set an alarm to alert you if the temperature gets too high or too low.

All three additions are invaluable for a parent and have given me great peace of mind. I would of never thought there was such a thing as a device that not only monitors your baby but tells you how long they have slept for, what temperature your room is and that can listen in to your baby at a click of a button!

All in all I absolutely adore our Nabby baby monitor and feel extremely lucky that we were offered the opportunity to review such a fantastic and innovative piece of technology. The only negative I can find is that there is a slight delay, but that is nit picking.

You can buy your very own Nabby for £119.99 which may seem a little pricey but well worth it in my opinion. Money well spent.  I think that every parent should have a Nabby in their life.

I was sent this product for the purpose of this review. However all opinions are my own.

  1. Nice Info! The wireless fetal baby monitor in most cases has two elements; the parent unit (frequently mobile) which is where the controls are situated and the baby device that is positioned near the child's crib or cot.

  4. Best tracking app can be downloaded from here.

  5. I Love the rechargeable battery feature. How energy efficient is it? That's an issue we have with ours...not that we really need it anymore!Check out the best baby monitors reviews. Thanks!
