A few days ago I wrote about our plan to book our first family holiday at the end of the week. The last time Nick and I traveled abroad was more than 2 years ago now and we have really missed the sun, sea and of course the sangria. We are so excited about going abroad as a family for the first time but are also a little apprehensive too.
Once the holiday is booked and out of the way I will then be focusing on buying the three of us our holiday wardrobes. I will have a lot of fun buying Noah's little outfits and swimwear but this time around I'm not looking forward to buying for myself as I still have weight to lose. Why is losing weight so hard?!
I have lost 10 lb so far on my Slimming World journey which is a good start but it's taking a lot longer than I anticipated. I am hoping to lose at least 2 stone before September. The thought of having to shift that much weight in just 4 months sounds so unrealistic and is so daunting. Hopefully I can just keep chipping away at it bit by bit. Slow and steady wins the race as they say.
With my more slender body in mind I have been looking at various outfits that I would like to buy for Summer. I have always swayed towards the boho look, especially in the warmer months. It's a look which is effortless but still manages to make you feel like a million dollars.
Lately I have been admiring the festival look which so many celebrities seem to be rocking. Monsoon have put together this fun video and I love the look they have put together. See what I mean about effortless glam?
Do you have a certain style for Summer or do you like to mix it up?
