5 Things To Do Online

It's no secret that I spend a lot of time online, wether it be on my laptop or my phone. I think most people would agree that the internet is a big part of their lives and I personally think having such easy access to the internet certainly has it's advantages.

It's a great way to keep up to date with friends and family, it's easy to check the news, to quickly google something trivial that's been niggling at the back of your mind and so on.
Today I thought I would put together a list of my favourite things to do online.

1. Social media

The majority of the time I spend on the internet is probably on social media. I check facebook, twitter and instagram on a daily basis and I'm a self confession social media addict.

2. Blogging
Well blogging has to be number two doesn't it, I'm here right now blogging after all. I've been a blogger now for four years and this little part of the internet I really treasure, mainly for my pregnancy diary, baby diary and toddler updates. I can't tell you how amazing it is to be able to read these posts back. My birth story in particular is so special to me as when I reread it it just all comes back to me and reminds me of all the little bits that I had forgotten.

3. Online games
Another little guilty pleasure of mine has to be games like Candy Crush and Farm Heroes Saga. If I have a few spare minutes in the evening I can be found on my iPad as I do love to play bingo or online games on it. Thought the time just seems to fly by when I do!

4. Reading eBooks
If I'm not on social media, blogging or playing games I will often be reading eBooks. I have to admit that I do prefer reading books on my iPad over real books, which is sad to say but it's just so much easier reading in bed at night with one.

5. Shopping

I do the majority of my shopping online these days as I find it more convenient and I also like to shop around for the best prices before I buy anything. Before I make any purchases online I use TopCashback as I know more often than not I will be entitled to some cashback and last year I earned just over £100 by just making my usual purchases.
