Gender Reveal - Baby #2

We had our private gender scan today and I was right, it's a girl! The scan went really well and the sonographer showed us every nook and cranny of our baby. She said she was very active, had a strong heartbeat and weighed around 5oz. I still can't believe it and we are so happy! We would have been delighted with another boy too but with planning on having just two children it's lovely that we are going to be able to experience both. As soon as we found out and I'd the sonographer confirm her gender three times I dragged Nick off to Next as I just had to buy something pink! Here is our baby girls very first dress. I'm so excited!

  2. Congratulations! Also my guess was right, a girl. What a pretty dress Best Wishes. Though what gestation was gender scan done at? As wonder if they are being done at an earlier stage than had been. A memorable time.

    1. You can pay for a private gender scan at 16 weeks and then at my 20 week NHS scan I'll ask if they can confirm. I did the same with my son too. Thank you :)

  10. A girl. What a Delight. Most people seem to want a boy and a girl nowadays, with average family size having reduced over many decades.
