It's been half term this week and boy don't I know it. When our routine changes it tends to really mess up our days but we got there, we are at the weekend. I'm still really adjusting to having two young children as it's quite difficult to balance everything. With Noah only being three he still requires so much of my attention and of course my attention has to be divided with a newborn. That being said Noah has been a dream, he's very patient and understanding when he knows that Ava needs me. I honestly couldn't have asked for anything more from him, he makes me very proud. Although our routine went to pot this week we've had a great week none the less. Our first afternoon out as a family four on Sunday, to Clitheroe Castle. Noah really enjoyed going around the castle finding all the different toy dragons that were hiding. On Wednesday my Mum came to visit which was really nice as it's always good to have some adult conversation and for the children to see their Nanna. The rest of the week was spent in the garden, enjoying the sun and today we had an afternoon and evening out with family.

What have you been up to this week?

  5. Clitheroe Castle, I've never been to as yet. Though have visited other castles, which can be interesting. Nice that Clitheroe Castle had implemented an activity suitable for Noah. Means he was encouraged to explore, and finding the dragons would have been a challenge, and also a delight when he succeeded.

Sunday's can be a nice time for a family day out, possibly after lunch. Hopefully the Easter holidays will have some nice weather, which can make it nicer when arranging and enjoying family time. Especially with a young family.
