June Degustabox - Review

Our monthly Degustabox arrived just on time, towards the last week of the month. It's a delivery that we look forward to every month and we always sit down as a family to open it because there's always a little something for each member of the family inside. June's box was named the BBQ box and you can see why when you see the contents!

The BBQ box went down a storm because as mentioned previously there was a little something for every member of the family. Inside the box were brands that we already know and love but also a plethora of brands that I'd never heard of before. This is one of the reasons why I love Degustabox so much, I'm always introduced to new and exciting products! Noah eyed up the Haribo in a matter of seconds and he's been having a couple every other day to avoid a total sugar overload. My partner Nick really enjoyed the granola and cider and the shortbread was a hit with me, although I could have easily eaten the entire pack! I was really pleased with this months box.

Degustabox costs £12.99 per month but if you would like to try it for the first time use the code: CTOMW at the checkout to receive a huge £7.00 off! That means you can get your first box for just £5.99!

What products or brands would you like to see in Degustabox next?

  5. The wine sounds delicious. Quite handy at times to have alcohol free ( Breastfeeding, Responsible Driver, Commitments, Caring Commitments, etc) sometimes people working early in the morning, etc.

  6. I haven't come across Berrywhite's Organic drinks. Though I do like to try out new things, especially foodstuffs and refreshments. We went to a fairly local restaurant recently, following it being refurbished. I was quite surprised that though the restaurant was refurbished the menu was very much the same. I had a usual starter and main. Then had the panna cotta which I had considered before ( though had ended up with an ice cream sundae), it was delicious!

A variety of staff served our table, and others. The restaurant was understandably busy. One girl who came to serve our table looked like a schoolchild, she looked so young, maybe partly due to her stature. When I mentioned to her that she looked very young, she told me she was 17 and there were many her age employed at the restaurant. I wondered if maybe she planned a career in hospitality, she stated she hadn't thought of it, and presently had no career plans.

I wondered if Government schemes in regards to encouraging Businesses employing young people may be the reason that many youngsters were employed at that establishment. As I believe grants are given to Businesses if / when they employ someone aged between 17 -25 years old. Also aren't youngsters paid at a lower rate than their older colleagues?

Seems good that there is employment for some. Also that youngsters are being employed. As within the area there has been high unemployment generally. Youngsters roaming the streets, vandalism, graffiti, damage to local businesses, youngsters found gathered in various areas :- sometimes with alcohol and / or other drugs.

Hopefully employment will improve, as well as local social surrounding / situations and circumstances. I was brought up in a family with strong work ethics. Yet encountered times when employment was in short supply :- Due to population statistics, economic situation, etc, etc. Supply versus Demand. Yet people are important. Employment is important for people and Communities etc. Let's hope that there is a Positive Future ahead for Britain.
