I can't believe how fast this year is passing up by, just as I mentioned in this months Mummy and Me post. We are now in July, how did that happen? This week has been okay, back to our new routine of Noah going to nursery every afternoon (for three hours) during the week. He absolutely loves it now and it's such a contrast to how he was when he first started there. This week at nursery he watched their butterflies emerge from cocoons, he baked cakes, had forest school and made and ate pizza and hot chocolate. Is there any wonder why he loves it so much? I still have to bribe him to tell me what he's been up to whilst he's been there so I bet they've been doing so much more that I don't know about! Nursery aside it was a bit of the ordinary really, family visits, shopping and so on, though on Thursday afternoon we had to take both children for their vaccinations, which wasn't fun at all. I was the one who went in with each child, lucky me. Noah went first, one jab in each arm and and he went absolutely ballistic, sobbing his eyes out! Ava then had the oral vaccination and one in her thigh, she cried a little bit but was soon over it. Thankfully neither have had fevers or any ailments after them, though we had plenty of calpol on stand by!

What have you been up to this week?

  4. Aah the dreaded vaccines, took my nephew and he had to have one in every arm and leg! After the first he kept giving us looks of betrayal that we were allowing the torture!
    Lovely photos :)

  12. 29/06/2017 Spiderman umbrella and Spiderman Wellington Boots :- both look great. As brolly looks a good size, and Wellingtons with handles, seem a great idea for assisting with getting them onto feet. Maybe the older / elderly would benefit from that or something similar. As many develop arthritis, muscle weakness etc as they age. Yet are keen to maintain their independence, family, friends etc eager to ensure their comfort and safety.

  14. Ava seems to such a happy baby. Maybe the company of her brother is treasured by her. Noah loving Nursery so much, probably allows you and Ava to have some time to treasure for the pair of you.

  16. Ava seems to be growing up quickly. Nice to see you are prepared for her teething i.e. teething ring. Cool teething ring I found was helpful when children teething.
