Another week has been and gone. On Sunday we had our regular Sunday family day out and went to Edisford Bridge for the afternoon. Noah loved wading in the stream with Nick, skimming stones, going on the swings, the mini steam train and had a big ice cream after all the fun to have a little cool down. Ava napped here and there but she loved being out in the sunshine too, she's so good when we are out and about. Once Monday arrived it was time to get into our regular routine of nursery every afternoon. Noah enjoys it so much now and is always asking to go, it makes me so happy that he's finally so comfortable there. It's just a shame that the summer holidays are on the horizon! I had my weekly weigh in at Slimming World on Monday too, I'd lost another 2lb which brings me to half a stone in three weeks. I feeling like a Slimming World veteran! On Tuesday my Mum came to visit in the afternoon and it was lovely to see her, she came to pick Noah up with me at nursery and then took him in town for an hour or so. Wednesday wasn't a good day because I fell down the stairs and really hurt myself. I sprained my ankle and landed on my tail bone and I'm still in agony days later. The rest of the week was just our regular routine of nursery, visiting family, shopping, going for walks etc. Noah had a bit of a heat rash and was feeling under the weather on Friday but thankfully he's feeling a little better now.

What have you been up to this week?

  1. I am hopping this morning your feeling better. Sounds like other than the fall that you had a lovely week. As for us it was our first Vacation as a family in 9 years. So we just spent time together and took a couple day trips which was nice.

  4. Think I have slept quite a bit, following outing end of last week. Then visit to Mum's on Sunday. Group meetings on Tuesday. I must have been exhausted. Just like little Ava looks in your first photo this week. Early morning do tend to take their toll on me. Fiancé back to having his afternoon nap, so he has been better rested than the previous few weeks.

    Nice that Noah enjoys Nursery.

  8. 03/07/2017 Just realised what the picture signifies. Never been to weight watchers myself. So used to you in regards to your blog :- I initially thought that you had won a prize from another blog site.

Well Done! I can recall losing weight in my younger years :- I would increas exercise through walking and swimming. Whilst cutting out sweet treats, etc. My favourite treat for loosing weight was new clothes. You are likely to feel lighter, healthier, possibly more active and flexible following having lost half a stone. Enjoy!

  12. 07/07/2017 Ahh! Poor Noah. Though glad that he wasn't poorly for long. Though makes me think how we as a Culture tend to support our own and possibly others when they are feeling unwell " poorly" :- I wish the Nation could be more Active when it comes to those who are feeling POOR, whether it be in Health, Energy, Finances, Food, Employment, Income, Etc, etc. Just WHY? Are there Rich, Super -Rich, Ultra -Rich, etc when we have Poor People, Poverty. Yet we are told Equality and Diversity is a lawful requirement. Individuals, groups etc being tackled in regards to Racism, etc.

Glad Noah is once again :- WELL, IN GOOD HEALTH !
