Peter Rabbit Hop With Me Plush - Review & Competition

I've been a huge fan of Beatrix Potter and the tales of Peter Rabbit ever since I was a little girl so when the opportunity came to review the Peter Rabbit Hop With Me Plush I just had to snap it up. I adore the mischievous little bunny, the original books and the new cartoon animation as do my children so I knew that they'd both really enjoy the toy too.

We didn't have to wait long for delivery and when it arrived it was in one huge box, which of course Noah had to play in! On opening the box I was pleasantly surprised with how big the Peter Rabbit Hop With Me Plush is, at 40 cm tall he's not too big but was bigger than I initially expected.

My first impression was that he was the most adorable toy made from soft plush material with wiggly ears and big expressive eyes. I also thought his little removable coat and satchel makes him utterly irresistible. I couldn't wait to get him out the box to see what he could do and to see what the kids thought.

As the name suggests, the Peter Rabbit Hop With Me Plush hops up and down which I think is impressive on it's own but that isn't all he can do because he can also speak 5 different phrases and wiggle his ears too! Simply squeeze his paw and he hops up and down whilst he speaks, press the other paw and he wiggles his ears and talks.

With the toy being so interactive I did wonder how the children would take to him, especially Ava with her being so little. I wondered if the motion would scare her and make her cry but she absolutely loved it and smiles and laughs every time he talks or hops! Noah finds him very amusing too and insisted on taking him up to his bedroom at night and proudly displayed him on his bedside table.

The Peter Rabbit Hop With Me Plush is suitable from 18 months, costs £29.99 and can be bought directly from Argos or online. Would you like to win your own Peter Rabbit Hop With Me Plush?
