This week has been the last week of half term and a short week at work for Nick with it being a bank holiday. We've really tried to make the most of our free time this week with Noah going to nursery for longer once he returns and even though the weather has been very hit and miss we've not let it stop us getting out and about.

Sunday was our regular family day and family visits but we also took a trip to a little fair sort of set up. Noah won a prize on the hook a duck, another gun to add to his ever growing weapon collection! Monday we had Nick at home with us and the sun was out so we decided to go on a huge walk with the kids, it was lovely! On Tuesday Noah had a play date next door and I walked down to Slimming World with Ava, it was nice to have one on one time with her and to stretch our legs. Wednesday I returned the favour and next doors little girl came to play here. They have such a lovely little friendship and keep each other busy! Thursday, Friday and Saturday went by in a blur of house sorting, family visits, shopping and trips out to the park, the usual really.

What have you been up to this week?

  2. Mainly our usual activities throughout the week. Nice to get outdoors on occasions, have a chat, and feed the ducks at the pond within the park.

  5. Hook a duck, at the fair. I can recall when often the prize was a goldfish. Unfortunately the goldfish never lasted long. Thankfully that no longer happens. We did keep goldfish as pets when we were youngsters and had a good sized fish tank, as well as local pet shops. We enjoyed having pets.

  9. 29/03/2017 Ava :- aww, she seems upset by something. It can be amazing how quickly babies can let you know :- All is not well. Maybe she suddenly realised she was hungry, etc.
