We've just got back from a week at Butlin's in Skegness and we've had the most amazing time! I went so fast but I'm not surprised as every moment we were out and about doing something, we hardly spent any time in the apartment. The kids absolutely loved, Noah in particular being the age that he is and he was really sad to have to leave. Our favourite things to do were to head to the arcades or to the rides but there was so much to do, it's the perfect place for children. We will be reviewing the Just For Tots break in the next couple of weeks so make sure to pop back to read all about it, that's if you're interested in going yourself. We were really impressed and Noah is already asking to go back!

We are now back home and totally have the post holiday blues, it's horrible.
It's been lovely to be able to spend so much time together as a family this week so I feel a bit sad that it's back to reality on Monday. Nick is back to work and Noah is back to nursery which means those dreaded early morning nursery run's too. That being said we've got so much more to look forward to this year (Halloween, Bonfire Night, Noah's 4th birthday, Christmas!) and next year too (Ava's 1st birthday, Center Parcs, Majorca!) so I'm trying to keep them as my focus to get me through normality next week!

What have you been up to this week?

  5. Some normal usual stuff. Some unpacking of boxes, as had been tired following decant. Plus fact that we could hear workmen in flat above and below us during first week back :- That had tired us out also. We made use of new cooker, with the assistance of the instructions. Will take fiancé a bit of time, as he was used to cooking with gas. Whereas I have used gas and electric cookers over the years.

Pleased to read that you all had a nice time at Butlins. Can recall being taken to Butlins for Day Out on a number of occasions by my Mum. She would take us children, and it was nice to meet friends who were there on holiday with their family. I loved the animal bins, when you put litter in them :- You got a Thank-You recorded message ( I think it was "Thank You for Feeding Me"). Great Fun, Good Memories.
