It's been quite an eventful start to the year, that's for sure and not in a good way! Our car was stolen at the start of the week and there's just no sign of it anywhere, we are so frustrated! How someone can steal a family car is beyond me. Inside was a couple of the kids toys, their blankets and car seats so to me it's like they've stolen from my children and I find that so difficult to swallow. It's a good job I believe in karma! I rejoined Slimming World this week and put on quite an impressive amount of weight in just three week that I'd been off plan. I did do some good eating and drinking over the Christmas period though, I must admit! Noah was back to nursery and we've had a birthday party, play dates and various shopping and family trips throughout the week too.

What have you been up to this week?

  2. What an awful start to the year, probably just stolen the car for kicks, but they don't realise how much inconvenience it causes and the psychological damage it creates. Grrrrrrrr.....

  7. Oh no, how people can do it is beyond me, like you I'd be absolutely furious, I hope karma does come for them, apart from that sounds like a fun week, Noah and Ava look like they have had a fun week from the photos, I did have to look twice at the one of Noah in the swing to make it out lol xxx

  8. Hope that your car situation is sorted out. Such a shock when car is stolen. Can remember years ago, boyfriend at the time :- His car was stolen from cinema car park, on a day out. So shocked that we searched much of the car park in disbelief, yet knowing we remembered exactly where he had parked. Had to use public transport to travel about 30 miles, in order to get home.

On finding car missing, we immediately reported it to police, told that make and model a popular one to be stolen. Boyfriend did not buy that make again ( think he feared that thieves found it easy to gain access).

Will insurance cover loss of car and it's contents. As impacts on your family, options for days out, etc.

  9. OMG that's awful, hope they manage to find it. How horrible. At least you have had a good time otherwise. We have all been ill over Christmas which was rubbish but hopefully on the mend now
