Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Season 3 - Review

Hatchimals CollEGGtibles are tiny adorable creatures that are hidden inside eggs, waiting to be hatched. Hold, hatch and play, they are utterly adorable and so much fun to collect. We love surprise toys and Hatchimals CollEGGtibles are a favourite of ours. We've been lucky enough to collaborate with them a couple of times and last year we reviewed the fantastic Hatchimal Hatchery Nursery. This is a great playset for children who love them just as much as we do.

Hatchimals CollEGGtibles have now returned with series 3, bringing over 100 new characters to collect, enough to hatch a whole new world. We were delighted when we were sent some products from the new range.

Our review bundle included;
Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Season 3 - 1 Pack - RRP: £2.99,
Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Season 3 - 2 Pack - RRP: £4.99, Hatchimals CollEGGtibles 2-Pack Cloud Egg Carton - RRP: £4.99 and the Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Season 3 – 4 Pack - RRP: £9.99. With prices starting at £2.99 there's a pack for every occasion or for a pocket money treat.

Just like series 1 and 2 the new series of Hatchimals CollEGGtibles are presented in colourful speckled eggs and are waiting for someone to help them to hatch. To hatch them you simply rub the heart on the egg and wait for it to change colour, once it's changed from purple to pink it's ready to hatch. Then all you need to do is give the egg a little squeeze to make the first crack. It's so exciting to see which CollEGGtible will be waiting inside.

"Hatch Friends Forever!" is the tagline for season 3 as there's a brand new theme running throughout the series. Each new Hatchimal CollEGGtible has a best friend, squad or a twin! This new element adds even more excitement when it comes to hatching the eggs as you may find not one but two critters!

It didn't take long for us to find out first set of twins, pink Penguala twins! I think both Noah and I squealed in delight when we saw that twins were nestled up inside! Twin's are a little bit smaller than regular Hatchimal CollEGGtibles, so they need extra care not be lost. They have little wobbly heads and have special poses and gestures which make them the cutest CollEGGtibles ever!

Our favourite from all that we hatched has got to be Petal Alligator from Petal Path, who is part of a squad. Noah's decided that she's the Mummy of all the rest of the CollEGGtibles and she's the one in charge! We had no dupes in our season 3 bundle, a lovely mix of characters with two sets of twins and two squad members too!

Did you know that there's a FREE Hatchimals app which is perfect for Hatchimals CollEGGtible fans out there! With the app you can explore Hatchtopia and hatch new friends! Once they’ve hatched, care for them to keep them happy, play mini-games with them, and build your collection! You can explore different areas of Hatchtopia with your Hatchimal and can even keep track of your real collection with the Collector’s Book.

Hatchimals has also premiered its animated digital webisodes that welcome kids to Hatchtopia offering new magical places for them to discover. Hatch a Whole World™ with Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Season 3. Hatchimals Season 3 is suitable from the age of 3 and is available now, online and in most toy retailers. For further information visit www.hatchimals.com.

  2. Season 3 theme seems nice. As has been said "No Man is an island ". We do not live in isolation. Social interaction and Social contact are important aspects of life. Good to increase awareness from a young age, encourage empathy, consideration, etc. Friendships may be of more importance nowadays, as family size smaller than previous generations. Also loss does occur. So seems beneficial to have good family and friends mixture of relationships. Children learn so much from playing.

  8. Nice time of year to launch Season 3, as Spring has sprung. We hear the birds chirping in the trees, can see birds nests in the trees. Lambs and calves are in the fields. New life.
