  2. Noah seems happy :- Posing for the camera, amongst the beautiful plants at a Garden Centre. Presently watching tv programme :- Neighbour's from Hell. Totally shocked at one story where a neighbour stole her neighbour's garden plants, and hanging basket. Luckily on this occasion the Police were Sucessful. They located perpetrator, returned the garden plants to their original places ( within the victim's garden). Perpetrator was fined £75.

Recent media reports state our present Prime Minister Boris Johson has stated that there will be an increase in the number of Police :- Soon. Let us hope that this makes positive changes in regards to :- Public Protection. Such as a reduction in Physical violence, theft, burglary, fraud, etc, etc. As Protection of the Public, Health ( Physical, Mental, Psychological, Emotional) and Wellbeing. Quality of Life for All :- Matters. As Everyone Requires Positive Opportunities in order to Reach a Healthy. Worthwhile Potential. Caring, Sharing, etc, etc.

  3. Very cute photo. It's nice that he's taking an interest in growing vegetables. I read somewhere that many children have no idea where food comes from, so at least that won't be the the case with Noah.

  4. Lots of Summer plants. Locally we have lots of colourful plants, beautiful hanging baskets, wonderful plant displays within garden areas. It is a tourist route, and in previous decades was visited frequently in great numbers in the Summer time. I know that a lot of the plants are grown at various centres :- Some by volunteers, some by the Disabled. Not sure how many locals are aware of this, as we do also have shops, Garden Centres, etc. So it may be that many when it comes to plants for their own garden shop at :- Shops, Supermarkets, Garden Centres. When I have heard from local Social Workers that they themselves buy from the centres were there are volunteers. the Disabled :- These organisations sell at reduced prices, and Social Workers aware via making use of information gained through there work / place of work, etc.

Seems that those who are willing to contribute to our local community, may not receive full appreciation for their input. We are told that the Disabled can work. Maybe we need to know some of the tasks / type of work that the Disabled do do ( work),

I have in the past come across some Disabled individuals working within Cafes, etc. Wondering if there has been a decline in such Employment. As we often hear and / or read of Equality and Diversity. So why shouldn't we be seeing Able bodied and Disabled people working within establishments. We also hear of " Reasonable Adjustments" :- Maybe more needs to be out in the open. David Cameron ( ex - Prime Minister. Who had had a Disabled father, and he also had had a Disabled son) often stated. term /s :- " Open, Honest and Transparent",

Shouldn't we perhaps be seeing the Disabled working ( as well as the able bodied ) in places such as Garden Centres, etc. Many Garden Centres have cafes. Primce Harry is said to be supportive of Disabled Veterans, perhaps they can be re - introduced into the working ( paid employment) Enviroment via places such as Garden Centres, cafes, etc. After all when Prince Harry returned from Armed Services, he continued with his Royal duties ( as still part of the Royal family), as well as continuing with her personal and social life :- He has since married, had a child, and will have had many opportunities where he was entertained, treated to a meal, etc, etc. Our Health and Wellbeing is determined by Quality of Life :- Which consists of various aspects. Employment, Finances, Opportunities, Self Worth, Self Esteem, Nutrition, Family Life, Social Life, Exerrcise, Mobility, etc, etc.

Womderful to see flowers in bloom. Hopefully we will see and experience some more positive aspects of life.

  6. Today we have the Heavy Rain that was recently forecast :- Amber Weather Warning yesterday for Heavy Rain. Have already seen part of road with partial flooding, and it is a / the main road through the town. So, Why? Possibly / Probably blocked drains, we also have potholes :- So numerous, unbelievable when we hear via the media that we are all encouraged to be active :- As good for our Health and Wellbeing. Flooding only likely to add to potholes numbers and / or sizes. Road and Pavement repairs and maintenance is needed, and needs to be Effective for use / weather / cost effective, long lasting. As how do we get out and about from A - B :- Especially with No Alternative Route. Town Planning ? Though probably initially started as a village, and grew. Congestion is frequent :- Unfortunately.

  7. We had a lovely time at Gretna recently. Nice day browsing, bought some clothing. Eat outdoors, as beautiful sunny warm weather. Folks :- Pleasant, chatty. Many people had a dog with them. Well behaved, beautiful, friendly dogs, and Responsible owners :- All with their dog on a lead, and under control / guidance of friendly Responsible owner. There are lots of dog bowls around with water next to shops :- So dogs are welcome, and their needs considered. Such a nice sociable Enviroment.

There were many areas with lovely coloured plants, and lots of planters, also hanging baskets. Unfortunately many of the planters seemed to be overfilled with plants. So much so that there were areas of brown dead / decayed :- What would have previously been fully bloomed colourful flowers. Was wondering if the overcrowding had damaged plants. As roots need space to grow and spread. I am not an experience gardener. But I do love to see lovely healthy plants naturally growing in the ground. Not so keen on a bouquet of flowers. As they soon begin to wither and die. Plants grow, and develop, changing over time :- Lasting much longer than brief blooms, and petals tend to fall gradually over time ( they fade away, rather than suddenly die off, go brown, etc). Nature is natural, amazing, wonderful and has a life cycle.

  8. Garden Centres :- I must admit that we use it mainly for cafe / restaurant. It is nice to browse, love when there are animal corner included. As Wonderful to see a variety of birds, pets, etc. In Nature :- Plants and animals live together. In nature I love to hear the birds chirping in the trees. A healthy sign / evidence of life, life cycle, etc.

  10. Garden Centre :- I believe that many Primary Schools have an area of ground within the school grounds :- Where the children can grow from seed :- Flowere, Plants, Plants for Food. Learning from Experience :- Which we have been told / informed is the Best way to learn.

Hands on ( Physical labour / labouring). Active mind, active body, outdoors in the Fresh Air, interacting with nature. Growing / producing goods :- Flowers, Plants, Food. Positive Outcomes. Sense of Achievement. Self Worth. Self Esteem. Holistic / Holism.

Better Future / s for Future Gemeration. Hopefully!

  13. How styles change. Yet we are told that our clothing style sends a message about us. Just seems to tell others where we spend our money nowadays. In the past :- Where we holidayed, our names, our Fvourite pop stars. What does the future hold.

  15. Some Garden Centres offer Gardening Opportunities / Learning Opportunities for Children. Seems good to start young. Possibly in the future they will extend Gardening Club Opportunities to a wider age group :- Life Long Learning.

Not everyone has a garden. So seems beneficial to offer Opportunities for all. Maybe in the future :- We may have Community Gardens. Could work as teams. Opportunities to socialise, learn from each other. Support one another. May be start up schemes were able bodied could help those who have aged, become unwell, recovering from surgery, etc. As some assistance with upkeep of garden could help with overall health. Help build cohesive Communities, Community Spirit, etc.
