Blade & Rose Clothing - Review & Competition

I've been a huge fan of Blade & Rose ever since Noah was a baby after I came across them on social media. We've had so many pairs of leggings in different designs in a whole array of different sizes. We've even had matching socks too! I think that when it comes to children's leggings you can't get any better than Blade & Rose, every design is unique and you can spot their signature style from a mile away.

Over the past couple of years I've seen their popularity grow and with such deserved success Blade & Rose have now expanded their collection. Not only do they sell leggings but they now offer full outfits, cardigans, hats, wellies and even soft toys! It's so exciting to see what they release next and I wish I could afford to buy the lot!

I worked with Blade & Rose back when Noah was a baby so when the chance came to review some new pieces from their collection I was more than happy to say yes. We'd already had a lot of their leggings in primary colours and neutrals with Noah being a boy but now that I have a daughter I wanted to go all out pink and as you can see by my choice of outfit I did just that! After what seemed like an hour of deliberation I decided to choose the Racoon leggings and matching Racoon long sleeve t-shirt. These retail at a respectable £10.00 for the leggings and £13.95 for the top.

When they arrived in the post I couldn't help but squeal as they were even cuter up close and in my hands. I couldn't wait to dress Ava in them and I think I had her in the outfit within the hour!

I was drawn to this design because I love how a racoon is featured on them as it's not an animal that you see on "girl" clothing very often, it's usually all cats, mice and unicorns! Not that there's anything wrong with those, I do love a good cat print! I also like how I could team the top up with some jeans or match the leggings with a plain t-shirt to mix it up a bit, they are very versatile.

The leggings are so luxurious, made from 75% combed cotton, 20% nylon and 5% spandex. This makes them super soft with a little bit of stretch, ideal for cloth nappies and for crawling or cruising about the house. The are also great for keeping your little one's legs nice and cosy in these colder temperatures we've been having lately. The long sleeve t-shirt is just as lovely as the leggings and is made from 95% cotton and 5% elastane. How cute are those little puff ball sleeves? Such a lovely detail. These pieces make such a fantastic outfit for little ones, one that's not just cute but very practical and comfortable for them to wear too.

I've teamed up with Blade & Rose to give away a pair of leggings to one lucky winner. The winner also gets to choose the design too! To enter simply use the Gleam form below! Good luck and don't forget to enter my other blog competitions!

Blade & Rose - Review & Competition

As a lover of children's fashion and British brands I was more than excited to be contacted on behalf of Blade & Rose last week. Blade & Rose is home born and home grown and is a company was started by a lady named Amanda Peffer while she was on Maternity Leave. To add an even more personable and meaningful touch she named her brand after her two children using both their middle names, Blade and Rose.

Blade & Rose leggings are becoming quite iconic, especially in the blogging community and on social media. They are known for not only looking super cool but by being fit for purpose too

We were sent the Solider Leggings to review and they cost £10 which I think is good value for money. We love this design but there are also so many others to choose from online in a wide range of different sizes too. Other favourites of ours are the Reindeer and Bear designs, though we really do love them all.

We found the leggings to be soft, comfortable, stretchy and such a lovely quality but they are also durable, hard wearing and easy to clean and dry, they tick so many boxes. I think they are perfect for toddlers and babies alike as they are so comfortable for them to wear and are so easy for them to toddle or crawl about in too.

Blade & Rose are quickly becoming a leading children's clothing brand here in the UK and are also seen across the world from Germany through to Japan. It's inspiring to see how a British mumpreneur can go so far, very much deserved.
