Oxo Tot - Review & Competition

Oxo Tot are a brand we've been following for a while now, ever since Noah started his weaning journey two years ago. We are already big fans because they offer products that are suitable from weaning through to childhood and beyond. I also believe that when you buy something from Oxo Tot you know you it's going to be great quality and at a great price too.

We were recently asked if we would like to team up with a review and was asked to choose three products from their website. I have to admit it took me a good while to decide which items to go for because there was so many different products which appealed to me. In the end I decided to go for the Flippy Snack Cup with travel cover, Divided Plate with removable ring and the Roll Up Bib.

Divided Plate - 

First we have the Divided Plate with removable ring which is very reasonably priced at £8.50. I think this plate is fantastic not just for picky lunches or snacks but it also helps you balance a meal too as the sections are actually designed for protein, veggies and grains. You can remove the ring once your child has gotten the hang of self feeding too.

Flippy Snack Cup - 
Next up is the Flippy Snack Cup which is also priced very reasonably at just £6.00. I decided to go for this because not only did we have a holiday coming up but we are also out and about a lot and I thought it would be ideal for that reason and it really has been. It's easy to fill with your little one's favourite snacks, it's easy to grip, easy for little hands to get stuck in and most importantly, no spilled snacks! Hurray! 

Roll Up Bib - 

Last but certainly not least we have the Roll Up Bib which costs £12.00. You may think it's a little pricey for a bib but believe me it's not, it's like the king of all bibs and I wish I'd had one sooner! The bottom half of the bib is made from silicone and the wide pocket catches pretty much everything that falls out your little one's mouth! We recently took it on holiday with us and it was a godsend at meal times when we didn't want him to muck up his "going out clothes!"

  

We've put all three products through their paces and dare I say it, they are perfect! There isn't anything I would change about any of them! Oxo Tot has proven yet again that their products are next to none and a must have for all parents.

OXO Tot Toddler Feeding Set - Review

I have quite the addiction for toddler cutlery and crockery and have a cupboard full to the brim of different brands and styles of cups, plates, bowls, forks, spoons. You name it I probably have it but one brand that I hadn't tried was OXO Tot.

I was recently asked if I would like to select something from the OXO Tot website to review on the blog. I only had to browse the site for a moment until I set eyes on the Toddler Feeding Set, it looked brilliant and I knew I had to have it.

This four piece set includes; a plate with removable training ring, bowl with removable lid, fork and spoon. 

What we like

The plate transforms as your child grows. The training ring can be removed once your toddler is a little more savvy when it comes to the spoon. This is great because it's not only easier for your toddler to feed themselves but also makes meal time less messy. 

The non slip base on both the plate and bowl is a fantastic feature which I haven't found on many other brands.

The handles on the spoon and fork also have a non slip grip which makes it easier for little hands to hold. 

The quality of the entire set is far superior to any other brands that we have tried.

BPA, phthalate and PVC free. The bowl and plate can are microwaveable and the whole set is dishwasher friendly. 

The set is available in green, pink and aqua.

What they could change

It would of been better to of had a toddler knife in the set. I know toddlers won't use them for a while and they are very blunt but it's good to start practicing early and I want him to be introduced to the correct cutlery. It's also a bit of a shame not to have a the full matching set for when he is a little older too. That is my only niggle. 

The OXO Tot 4-Piece Feeding Set is priced at £16.00 and I think that is a very fair price for the quality and longevity of this product. A must for all toddlers!
