Review: October Nonabox

Noah and I have been lucky enough to review a Nonabox for a while now. We always get very excited when we know that our monthly box is on the way. I am a huge fan of subscription boxes and Nonabox is high up there with the best. It is a must-have for Mum's and Mum's to be and you can subscribe here

So what was inside?

Aden & Anais Star Swaddle – £44.95

         Chilli Peeps 3in1 Spout – £6.50

Bennetts Aqueous Bath Drops – £3.00

Bennetts Baby Bum Creme – £2.69

Nuk First Choice Bottle – £4.99

           Nuk Silicone Soothers  – £5.49

Water Wipes Sample Pack - free

There were 7 items inside Octobers Nonabox and although it did feel a little empty there were some nice products included.

My favourite item by far has got to be the Aden & Anais pink star swaddle.
I already own this particular swaddle in the orange star print and absolutely love it. When Noah was little he was obsessed with it and I did think it would end up being a comfort blanket for him. Not only was it good for swaddling your little one but it also doubled up as a play mat, muslin cloth, changing mat, comforter. I found endless uses for it! I was very happy to see it inside Octobers box as I think it would be a valued product to any Mummy out there.

Overall I was happy with this months box. It wasn't as good as others but it was okay. I look forward to seeing what exciting products are in next months edition.

Review: September Nonabox

Another month, another Nonabox! We have been reviewing Nonabox for a while now and each month when the box arrives I can't wait to see what's inside!

By signing up to the subscription service each month you will receive a Nonabox full of goodies that is tailoured to your babies age and gender. A box costs £25 a month (or less if you sign up for a longer period) and the contents inside the box are always worth more than the cost.

Here is what was in our September box:

MAM spoons - £2.99 - We are huge fans of MAM and use not only their bottles but dummies, cutlery and cups too. It's nice to see some MAM product in the box.

Green People toothpaste - £3.50 - Noah is getting his first tooth through at the moment so this toothpaste couldn't of come at a better time. I can't wait to try it.

Shea Mooti Mama's Everything Body Balm - £16.99 - I've received this product in a previous months box and although it's a good product I haven't used the first one yet. It's always welcomed to receive a nice treat for Mummy though!

Ella's Kitchen Milk and Vanilla Cookies - £1.99 - Noah is a fantastic eater and loves nothing more than feeding himself. I was excited for him to try these new Ella's Kitchen cookies but he wasn't really a fan. I don't think it's down to the cookies though it's just that he's gone off his biscuits lately and won't eat his biscotti either.

Ella's Kitchen Wakey Wakey Round Ones - £2.49 - We haven't tried these yet but we will be doing soon.

Overall I think there was a good mix of products in the September box but to me it felt like something (or a product or two) was missing. The box contents were only worth £28 and that leaves you feeling a little cheated when some of boxes last year were worth in excess of £70.

As a huge fan of Nonabox I am anxiously waiting for the October box in hope that the standard of their boxes go back to the level they once were.

Review: Nonabox - August Edition

We have been reviewing Nonabox for many months now and I have been a big fan since day one. I love the concept behind them and I do think they are one of the best subscription boxes on the market. Subscription is £25 a month and each box exceeds that value.

Here is what was inside our August box-

Eisberg Alcohol free wine - £2.79 - I won't drink but probably would do if I was pregnant.
C de C vest - £20.00 - This is unused as it's not the right size for Noah. Perfect for a newborn baby girl.
Waterwipes - £2.49 - These went straight into the nappy bag because we love Waterwipes.
Panyno baby girl shoes - £25.00 - Lovely shoes but I can't use them due to them being baby girl shoes.
Clearspring fruit pouches - 89p - I had never heard of Clearspring before and Noah loved the pouches.
Turtle Tots swim nappy - £10.00 - This was in newborn size so we couldn't use this either.

As a blogger I have been receiving a sample box each month which contain random items which aren't at all tailored to my son. I can understand why Nonabox send bloggers these boxes as it is simply easier for them to distribute but for me it's not really working. I find that I can't really give a true review because these aren't the items I would be receiving if I was a regular customer who had subscribed. I do review these random items the best I can but the majority of them I am unable to use as they aren't suitable for my son's age, size, or gender. I think that Nonabox are doing it totally wrong when it comes to these reviews because if they did send out personalised boxes they would be receiving more accurate and more positive feedback. I have aired these thoughts to them and I thought I would mention it here too as I didn't want my readers to think that you do receive random items when you subscribe because you don't. What I have in my Nonabox each month is a random sample box.

Review: Nonabox - June Edition

We have been lucky enough to review Nonabox numerous times now and it's a subscription box and company we know and love. I was a little disapointed with last months box but on a whole Nonabox don't fail to deliver so I was very excited to see what was in June's edition.

Here is what was inside

Weleda Baby Oil - £9.50

Weleda Baby Shampoo & Body Wash - £6.95

Weleda Nursing Oil - £7.95

Water Wipes Make Up Removal Wipes - £2.99

Smallprint Magic Inkless Print Kit - £11.99

Ella’s Kitchen - Pork Stew - £2.19

Total - £41.57

I was happy with the items that were in this months box as the majority of the items I will use. I am a huge Weleda fan and wasn't aware they did a baby range so I am looking forward to giving Noah the Weleda treatment.

I am always using Noah's baby wipes to remove my make up so I was delighted to see they had included make up remover wipes in the box. Again Waterwipes are another brand that I love and just like I was unaware Weleda made a baby range I was unaware that Waterwipes made wipes for adults!

It was a shame that no stage 2 foods included as the toddler meal from Ella's kitchen is just going to be wasted but I know that these are just sample boxes. If you sign up online and tailor your box you will only receive items that are suitable for your babies age so you don't need to worry about that.

Considering Nonabox costs £25 a month the box was great value. I wouldn't hesitate in subscribing. If you would like to know more then simply click here.
