Project 365 - Week 44

30th October - 5th November

We've all felt a bit run down and poorly this week with coughs and cold so we've taken it a little easier this past couple of days. Noah's nursery was also closed this week due to half term so our coughs and colds couldn't have come at a better time really cause it meant we got to relax together. On Monday it was Halloween and had quite a busy day despite our colds. In the morning I had my 24 week midwife appointment which was possibly the quickest one in my life. My bum had barely touched the seat before I was heading out the door but at least it everything is all good. My Mum then came over to visit in the afternoon and then in the evening Noah went trick or treating for the first time. We only knocked on a few doors and our of the couple we knocked on only one or two answered which was a shame. Who doesn't answer their door to a two year old trick or treating for the first time, rubbish! All that aside Noah really loved Halloween this year and it was all he'd talk about all day long, it's been fantastic! The rest of the week consisted of Noah and I chilling out, watching movies together, having naps and just trying to get better. On top of my cold I've been having lots of dizzy spells lately so it's been nice to just have a week to truly relax. Tonight it was bonfire night and we had planned to take Noah to a bonfire but everywhere was heaving so instead we bought some sparklers and a few fireworks and headed to the inlaws. Noah absolutely loves fireworks and was pointing out all the different colours he could see within them. Even though we've not been well it's still been a lovely week.

What have you been up to this week?

  1. The coughs and colds are going round here too! And a bad a flu jab on Friday and I swear it's made it worse

  2. It sounds like you still made the mmost of the week even with colds, we've had them here too and now we are hit with Chicken pox :(

  3. Sorry you've all been feeling poorly. :( Noah looks fab in his Halloween costume - but boy does he look grown up!
