Another month has been and gone and that means it's time for our monthly Degustabox review, though a little bit later than usual. On the arrival of our Degustabox we did our usual, we set it to one side for when Nick came home from work as we all like to open it up together. That may sound a bit silly to some but we do make little traditions out of things and this is probably tradition number 55! Last month we had a back to school themed box and it was one of our favourite's so far, so much so it's going to be a hard one to beat! Without further ado, here is what was inside September's Degustabox.

As you can see there's quite the array of different products in this months box, you can tell there wasn't a theme as everything did seem a bit random, not that it's a bad thing. The box was great but compared to last months delight it left me wanting a little bit more, maybe they spoilt us too much last month! That being said most products we were able to use and used quite quickly, by Nick mostly. He drank all the drinks, ate the chocolate and he took the Latin American packs to work for his lunch. Noah and I on the other hand enjoyed tucking into the cereal as it was one we'd not tried before and it was quite nice to have it with the Dream Rice Quinoa milk which was also in this months box.
This leads me to our star product from this months box, a new little feature I'll be adding to our monthly Degustabox reviews. Without a doubt it was the Cheerios Oat Crisp cereal which went down a storm with everyone in the family, even with 7 month old Ava! The box is loaded with delicious crunchy flakes made from whole grain oats mixed with crispy cheerios, perfect in the morning with ice cold milk. As a family of cereal lovers it didn't last long and the box was gone within a matter of days, we've been out to buy it again since! It's a new family favourite.
Degustabox costs £12.99 per month but if you would like to try it for the first time use the code: CTOMW at the checkout to receive a huge £7.00 off! That means you can get your first box for just £5.99!
What products or brands would you like to see in Degustabox next?
- We were sent this product for the purpose of this review however all opinions are my own.
Thanks for the review. These boxes are undoubtedly good value but I always wonder how much the children would eat.
ReplyDeleteWe are a vegan and vegetarian household so would like to see products suitable for the increasing numbers of people converting fully or partly to a veggie diet.
Maybe in the future they could offer a vegetarian or vegan boxes. I'm sure there's a large market for those kind of boxes.
DeleteI've been thinking about trying these for a while this has encouraged me as I'd probably use all the items you have received
ReplyDeleteGreat selection. Like the sound of the green and blacks velvet edition
ReplyDeleteI do love chocolate. I would like to see products such as :- Fish, Rice Pudding, Custard, Bread ( Seeded, wholemeal), snacks, rice cakes, etc. I think come this time of year we are seeking some hot, filling, comfort foods etc. As the weather becomes cooler, and damper. We want healthy nourishing foods also. As you mention sometimes a themed box of food and refreshments (non-alcoholic drinks) is most welcome.

ReplyDeleteI wonder if the October Degustabox will contain some items specifically aimed to help Celebrate Halloween.

A regular delivery of groceries seems a great idea. I'd love a regular delivery of lovely fresh fruit and vegetables.

Been doing my best to encourage fiancé to stock the cupboards up for Autumn and Winter. There are times when it is not easy to get access to shops :- Our local shopping mall has been flooded on a few occasions. Also wind, snow, etc. Still working on encouraging him.
ReplyDeleteMy Mum always tended to keep the food cupboard and fridge - freezer well stocked. I think probably due to being widowed young, she was well aware how much her family depended on her. We think she was a good provider and very practical and organised. I think I'll get her to have a word or two with my fiancé. As I certainly would like us to feel comfortable and cosy over the winter months.
Hope the family had a nice time at Butlins.
