We've all been under the weather this week with bad colds. Noah has been well enough to go to nursery though, he was happy to go. I think he had the brunt of the cold last weekend so has passed it on to me instead! It's been quite an ordinary week really, though a pleasant one despite the colds. On Sunday we had a great spontaneous family day out which took us to a cafe, local garden centre and then into town for the annual Christmas light switch on. There was so much to do there and to see, Noah was in his element. He went on half a dozen rides, watched the fireworks and even met Kylo Ren and Darth Vader! Ava slept the majority of the time, even when the fireworks were going off! The rest of the week was the usual family visits, drives out and shopping but we have spent more time indoors with us all being a bit under the weather. Here's to a better week next week, I'm going a little stir crazy!
What have you been up to this week?
Hope you're all feeling better soon
ReplyDeleteAttended an event for Adoption Week, aim to increase awareness. Event interesting, informative and worthwhile. We went to Garden Centre, had treat of cooked breakfast, also visited Pet's Corner which was really nice. We are fond of animals / pets. The birds were chirping, flying, pecking the floor, etc:- They were really alert and active. Meanwhile the rabbits, guinea pigs, etc were cuddled up together sleeping.

We're on the mend
Christmas lights switch on can be fun. Nice to read that you managed to attend as a family, and enjoy the event.

Beautiful photos as always Jen, look at Ava standing up, Mollie is pulling herself up on everything now, usually the TV unit, Megan's table and my windowsill, I'm constantly behind her, she is also chewing her cot where she's teething, although she tries to guilt trip me, she sits with her legs through the bars staring at me with her beautiful blue eyes, standing and chewing her cot, and the night before last standing up kissing my arm every two minutes, I thought she was trying to bite me at 1st then realised she was missing me lol xx
