Well, that's it! The very last week of 2017 and what a year it's been! I'll be writing an run down of our year on an upcoming post, so stay tuned if you'd like to read about it. This week has of course been jam packed full of Christmas festivities, we've been so busy! We've had a Christmas Eve party with family, Christmas Day madness at our house where we cooked Christmas dinner, then visited more family, another party but this time on Boxing Day, Noah had a birthday party to go to, a soft play play date, then we've had a few trips out and of course New Years Eve. It's been a wonderful week and the most perfect first Christmas as a family of four, Ava's first Christmas.
What have you been up to this week?
Looks like a very lovely family oriented 2017 :) x
ReplyDeleteChristmas and New Year were much as usual of preparations, spending some time with family and friends, festivities, etc. A time of adjustment, as first Christmas without my brother, who unfortunately died in March. Mum and he were close, so a trying time for her. As many older people can find, as remember those they have loved and lost, and has spent time with at this family orientated time of year.
ReplyDeleteHogmanay we spent in town hall, Hogmanay Event of meal, entertainment, dance, etc. Attended with some friends, and met some acquaintances there. Nice to see familiar faces, and meet some new folks. One of our friends who had been ill in hospital earlier in the year attended with his wife. They are delighted that he has recently been told he can return gradually to his usual activities of swimming and walking. As initially he was limited due to gradual recovery and some further investigations. Great night.
