PJ Masks Super Moon Adventure Toys - Review

Being such huge PJ Masks fans we were delighted when we were sent a big bundle of new and existing PJ Masks toys to review. We were invited to not only review the toys but to host a PJ Masks themed party for Noah too. I was delighted when I was accepted for this opportunity because I knew it would make the perfect after-school surprise for Noah and his friends.

The first item we decided to play with was the Mission Control HQ Playset, a new release for Autumn, which is suitable from 3 years and retails at £49.99. Included with this set is the HQ itself, a Romeo figure and a Catboy figure. The PJ Masks Mission Control HQ Playset is such a show stopper! It starts as the famous PJ Masks totem pole which is seen in the tv show, then it opens up to reveal three stories to enjoy and explore, each with interactive points to engage with.

The Mission Control HQ Playset encourages children to use their imagination and prompts them to create their own stories with the PJ Masks. It’s not just a place for the PJ Masks to hang out, as there’s so much more to do and explore. There's a secret trap door and a lightening bolt cage, both of which are ideal for capturing villains like Romeo and Luna Girl. Behind the lightening bolt cage is a light and sound control panel which plays phrases and music from the show. At the side of the HQ is a corkscrew pole which is great for Catboy as he can use it to spin on down and set off for to fight. When the HQ is under attack defend it using the Gekko shield or dart machines. The scroll through mission tablet is just what Owlette needs to choose their next mission. The Mission Control HQ Playset comes with a Romeo and Catboy figure, however, more are available to purchase separately.

Next, we have the Super Moon Adventure HQ Rocket, which is also suitable from 3 years of age and retails at £49.99. Included with this set is the HQ Rocket, Gekko figure and Gekko space rover vehicle. The PJ Masks Super Moon Adventure HQ Rocket is new for the season, inspired heavily by the show featuring lots of exciting lights and sounds. There are three colour coded seats inside the cockpit, one for each PJ Mask, with Gekko in the driving seat.

When the PJ Masks are ready to fly through space the ramp and legs can be folded up and closed, which makes take off quick and easy with the build in handle. Once the HQ Rocket has landed, simply press the button and the ramp will pop out, allowing Gekko to ride on out on his Space Rover vehicle! This is a great addition to any existing PJ Masks toy collection.

The Deluxe Figure Set is the set which really stood out to Noah as he really loves figurines! I do too as they are a great way to inspire imagination and encourage role play. This has been out for a while now, is suitable for children from 3 years and retails at £34.99. It’s a 16 piece set, which features all the main characters; Catboy, Gekko, Owlette, Luna Girl, Romeo, Night Ninja, three stackable Ninjalinos and more. The hero and villain figure stands 7.5cm, have moveable arms and can be used in both the Mission Control HQ Playset and Super Moon Adventure HQ Rocket.

The Speed Booster Vehicles are new for Autumn and retail at £13.99 each. There’s one for each PJ Mask character and each vehicle comes with a figure too, These are great for additional play with PJ Masks playsets like the HQ and Rocket, but are just as fun on their own. The kids enjoy having races with them, to see which hero will win. They also make fabulous getaway cars!

Also, new for Autumn are the Super Moon Adventure Figure and accessory set Super Moon Adventure Space Rover and Figure Assortments, both of which retail at £9.99 – a fantastic price point for a pocket money treat or for a stocking filler. They are themed on the new Super Moon Adventure theme and the new episodes of the show. The Super Moon Adventure Figure and accessory sets come with an interactive spacesuit and helmet and are articulated which makes role play so much more realistic. The PJ Masks Super Moon Adventure Rover set each come with a figure, vehicle and themed accessory.

The PJ Masks toy collection is brought to you by Flair and are availble to buy now, online or in stores such as Smyths, Amazon and VeryThere's something for every budget and would all make fantastic gifts for Christmas. If I was to recommend particular products for Christmas it would have to be the Mission Control HQ because it’s the one my children seem to be the most taken by.

Join UK Mums between 1-3pm on the 17th October for the #PJMasksToys twitter party! We'll be discussing the new range, while throwing a PJ Masks party and giving away lots of toys! Make sure to join us!
- We were sent these products for the purpose of this review, however, all opinions are my own.
