Baker Days Letterbox Cake Review & Competition

I was recently offered the chance to review Baker Days Letterbox Cakes and I couldn't wait cause let's face it, who doesn't love cake?! The letterbox cake's are fabulous, small enough to fit through your letterbox but large enough to celebrate that special occasion or even just as a little thank you present. Their cakes are so easy to personalise and the options of designs are endless. I chose a "Thank you" cake with a bright and pretty floral design.

After I chose my design I chose what flavour cake I'd like out of the 5 different favoured sponge available; vanilla sponge cake, fruit cake, chocolate chip sponge cake, gluten and wheat free and dairy free. Although we have no intolerances in our family I was pleased to see that they cater for everyone's needs.

The letterbox cakes are 12cm by 2.5cm, contain 4 portions and costs £14.99. Included in the price is a lovely keepsake tin, a greeting card, some sweets. Different sized cakes are available and of course the price will vary depending on what size and what flavour you order.

The cake arrived just a few days after placing our order and as soon as it arrived I made sure to photograph it because I had a toddler who was itching to get stuck into that chocolate cake!

When it came to sampling our cake well what can I say, I think the photo's above say it all. Noah has never been a big cake lover but ever since he's been asking for "chocolate cake" every other day! He sat there eating it with the biggest grin on his face and it's no wonder because the cake is so tasty! We'd happily order from Baker Days again, much to Noah's delight!
