Fred's Box - Review

Fred's Box is a subscription box for both kids and adults alike which can be ordered either as a prepaid one off box or a monthly box, both which can be paid online. I've mentioned in numerous posts how much of a fan girl I am for subscription boxes so I was delighted when Fred's Box offered to send us a box to review.

Fred's Box actually started off with Lego Minifigures in their boxes but have recently expanded their subscription boxes by adding 3 new monthly subscription boxes to their range instead:

The Fred's Mystery Monthly Box this is aimed at children between the ages of 3 and 16 years old. This is a fun packed box filled with mystery goodies! It will always include an age appropriate reading book, trading cards, Ooshie (a different one each month), Fred's Box pencil and sticker, 4 x design it yourself postcards plus between 2 and 5 mystery gifts!! This box will still fit through the letterbox so you won't need to be in to receive your goodies!

The Ooshie Subscription Box is aimed at everybody over the age of 5! Ooshies are squishy mini figures of your favourite licensed characters that also double up as pencil toppers. Within this box you will receive between 2 and 20 Ooshies, a Fred's Box Pencil, a sticker and 2 x design it your self postcards to send to family and friends, or even back to us if you would like to be in with a chance to win some goodies

The Preschool Stationery Monthly Box which is aimed at children aged between 3 and 6 years old. This is a big box containing an age appropriate reading book, lots of Crayola Goodies, and design it your self postcards, and is a great monthly subscription box for toddlers. This will launch mid June 2017.

We were offered an Ooshies Fred's Box to review which I was so happy about because Noah is such a big Ooshies fan! (You should see his collection!) They can also be quite hard to come across too, especially series 2 DC and Marvel Ooshies which have only just been released.

Inside our Standard Fred's Box there was four DC Ooshies, Ooshies checklist, a pencil, a couple of postcards and a sticker. Ooshies are actually pencil toppers (hence the Fred's Box pencil in the box) but they also make such a fun collectables too and that is how Noah uses them, as toys!

The Ooshies we received were; White Superman, Black Manta, Hologram Red Tornado and Glow In The Dark Batman. All four are from the DC series 2 collection and with them so newly released Noah didn't have any of them! Yay no dupes!

Our Ooshies Fred's Box went down a storm with both Noah and myself and I'll be wouldn't hesitate subscribing myself. I thought I would mention that I hand wrapped each Ooshie with the tissue paper which was in the box because Noah loves the blind bag and surprise element to his collectables. This made opening his Fred's Box even more exciting for him as he has to unwrap each Ooshie to discover which characters he had.

I was an admirer of Fred's Box back when there was just the one type of box to choose from so now there's more to select from I'm even more of a fan! I'm really excited to follow Fred's Box as they get bigger and bigger because I just know that they will, such a fantastic subscription service for kids and geeks alike.

- We was sent this product for the purpose of this review however all opinions are my own.

  4. I'd like books on topics such as :- Respect, Love, Kindness, Goodness, Peace, Joy, Caring, Sharing, Acceptance, Friendship, etc, etc. Affirmations. Ideas on Acts of Kindness. Toys which have Educational Value. Toys such as variety of dog breeds, cat breeds, variety of birds, tree varieties etc. Leaflets, booklets, books etc could give information regarding dog breeds, pet care, dog shows, etc, etc.

  5. These subscription boxes have become a hit with all different features, I think the crafty ones are good but haven't signed up as I wonder whether the cost is worth it, I am tempted with the baby ones for my youngest daughter who's 3 months xxx
