It only feels like yesterday that I was writing last weeks post! The weeks are flying by at a geometric rate at the moment, what's going on?! Last Sunday saw us have our weekly family day out but with the weather being rather hit and miss we just went to a local park to stretch our legs and get the kids some fresh air instead. I'm hoping the weather picks back up soon because we've not had much summer yet and we all love the warmer weather.

It's now half term so Noah hasn't had nursery this week and he's missing it already! I decided to plan lots of activities to keep his mind busy and his body active because he's the kind of child that loves to be doing something every day and he gets bored easily.
The first of the activities we did on Monday, a nature hunt! Noah really enjoyed it and we'd ticked everything off our list in about 15 minutes so next time I think I will add harder things to find.

In between the breaks in rain we've been on lots of walks and trips to the park and on Tuesday my Mum came to visit and took him to Blackpool Zoo for the day. He had such a great time and it was nice to have one on one time with Ava though I have to admit that we did have a cheeky little nap together! It was bliss!

We have been looking into classes and activities for the kids to start attending. Baby sensory for Ava and swimming for Noah, though it'd be great to take them both swimming to get them both used to the water. With this in mind I've been looking at new
swimming costumes because I've recently lost 12lb on Slimming World and nothing fits very well at the moment. Once Noah is more confident in the water we are going to book him swimming lessons, something that makes me feel excited but little apprehensive too!

Tomorrow is Sunday and we've not planned anything just yet but I'm hoping the weather will be kind to us so we can have a proper family day out this weekend.

What have you been up to this week?

  4. I can recall taking my nephew to Blackpool Zoo many years ago. A trip we both enjoyed. Would expect Noah and his Gran enjoyed their day out visiting Blackpool Zoo.

  7. You mention considering activities for each child to become involved in. Nice to allow individuals to have some opportunities, experiences, etc. I believe that there is great variety in regards to options for babies and children. Probably it is just about getting the most relevant information, in order that you can aim to make the most appropriate choices on behalf of the children.

Possibly other local parents could be sources of accurate up to date information in regards to what is available in your locality, where, when, etc, etc. As it is getting that information in sufficient time in order to obtain a place and enrol each child for the beginning of session / term, etc. Best Wishes!
