We've had such a great week this week and it was very much needed after a poorly week or two! We absolutely love this time of year and have packed so much into our week with Noah being off nursery for half term.
On Sunday we headed to one of our local parks for a Pumpkin trail which saw us heading through the woods to find them, all while reading clues and answering questions. It was great and Noah loved finding all the different ones! Ava on the other hand slept in the baby carrier most the time. On Monday we had a chilled out day at home, playing with toys and games and in the afternoon we headed to the park for an hour or so. With it being Halloween on Tuesday we were so excited! My Mum came to visit and brought both kids a Halloween bag full of little toys and treats. It was so lovely of her and it's a little tradition that she started back when Noah was a baby. In the evening we headed to a Halloween party at a local soft play centre and Noah had an absolute blast! A couple of friends from his nursery were there too so he was running around and having a great time with them. They had party games, danced to spooky music, played musical statues, played in the soft play area, won prizes, bounced on the bouncy castle and had their tea there too. It was so good and we'd definitely do it again next year! It was Ava's first Halloween experience and she seemed to really enjoy it, nothing really phases her! Mid week we did our usual of trips to the park, walks and visiting family. Then on Friday we went to a firework display and met up with some more of our family. It was the first time Ava had seen fireworks and with her just turning 8 months old I did wonder how she would take to them, but she loved them! She was mesmerised and was even dancing to them at some point, it was so cute and everyone kept smiling at her. Now it's Saturday and we've just had a super lazy day with a random trip to the arcades and a bit of a shop!
What have you been up to this week?

Local fireworks display nearby, so managed to view it from window, so warm and dry :- Despite it being wet and windy outside. Though we did miss out on music, as both are usually good together.
