It's time for my first Mummy & Me post of 2018. The photo's I chose for this month aren't anything special, just a quick shot on the park and a couple of selfies but I love them none the less. It's so funny to see how much Ava poses for the camera, especially on selfie mode! She is such a little character! Noah is usually too busy to come and take a photo with me but I did manage to get a couple of snaps.
We've not been getting out and about as much as we usually do because the weather has been awful. We've had snow, rain, hailstone, sleet! When we do get out and about we sure make the most of our time though. I can't wait until it starts warming up and we can have countless family days out with the kids again. Bring on Spring!
You look so cute together :D xxxx
ReplyDeleteIt's been an awful month weatherwise hasn't it. Can't get over how much your daughter has grown. Happy New Year #mummyandme
ReplyDeleteShe does look a character indeed.
ReplyDeleteoh the weather has been horrible wet and so cold, but you still got some lovely photos
ReplyDeleteAva is a little poser, its the opposite with mine, Connor and Mollie hide from the camera and 5 year old Megan loves selfies, I must have 50 of her doing the snapchat filters and that's just this week lol xx
ReplyDeleteAgree, bring on Spring!

Beautiful family. X
ReplyDeleteToday the sun is shining. I just sent my fiancé to local cafe / shop for some delicious Italian ice cream. We will have the ice cream with some fruit later this evening. Oh! How I feel in the mood for considering some days out, etc. Will have a chat with fiancé and see what ideas / suggestions we can come up with. Hope you manage to get some nice family days out, etc.

We have got talking about possibly getting days out. Though apparently been informed that Organisations leaflets and booklets likely to be available later in February. Meantime we are doing our best to ensure we are well rested.

These are such lovely photos. I know what you mean about the weather! It's been miserable here too and it does make it difficult to get out.
ReplyDeleteFebruary, any plans? As Valentines Day. Also February holiday from Nursery.

Winter still, as I believe weather forecast has stated it will be cold, some ice expected. Gritters have been out and gritted roads. Let us hope that pavement and car parks, etc are also gritted, as Health and Safety of the Public, etc are important Issues.
ReplyDeleteHave given some thought to Days Out, etc :- Once the weather is milder. Meanwhile I think we will aim to ensure we stay safe, well, warm, and well nourished whilst indoors. Thankfully once a week we have fish van and Fresh Farm Eggs Delvery. I wish there was a service for fruit and vegetables :- Maybe someday. I can but suggest, meantime.

Had an interesting meeting this week. Thankfully we had transport arranged, as it still remains cold outside. Watched Clare Balding's Secret of a Suffragette this evening. Very interesting and enlightening.

Super cute pictures sweetie. Bring on spring! Thank you for linking up with #mummyandme x
ReplyDeleteHoping March will bring some brighter, warmer weather. As it would be nice to get opportunity to get some days out. Still, just have to live in the present, and make use of any opportunities. Whilst counting our blessings Group have started going on some "field trips" :- Or so I am calling them. As we were given a notebook, and reminded me of schooldays when I'd overhear some pupils mentioning going on field trips, and writing up their reports in notebook in regards to their field trips. Makes exploring new places, services, groups, etc seem much more interesting and exciting. Dora the Explorer springs to mind.
