Mummy & Me - January 2018

It's time for my first Mummy & Me post of 2018. The photo's I chose for this month aren't anything special, just a quick shot on the park and a couple of selfies but I love them none the less. It's so funny to see how much Ava poses for the camera, especially on selfie mode! She is such a little character! Noah is usually too busy to come and take a photo with me but I did manage to get a couple of snaps.

We've not been getting out and about as much as we usually do because the weather has been awful. We've had snow, rain, hailstone, sleet! When we do get out and about we sure make the most of our time though. I can't wait until it starts warming up and we can have countless family days out with the kids again. Bring on Spring!

Mummy & Me - December

As we near the end of 2017 I feel quite emotional writing my last Mummy & Me post. This time last year I was pregnant with Ava and one of the photo's I used was a picture of me holding Noah, with both of our hands on my bump. Fast forward 12 months and my baby bump is now a nine month old Ava bean and it's honestly been the fastest year of my life. I feel like I've blinked and a whole 365 days have just flown on by. She's well and truly completed our family and I can't remember what life was like before she arrived.

I had half a dozen different photo's to chose from this month, from days out or quick shots whilst we've been at home but I had to go for these three festive pictures. My favourite has got to be the one of Ava giving me a big Christmas kiss whilst we waited to visit Father Christmas. She looked so cute in one of her Christmas dresses, matching headband and fluffy white coat and it was such a lovely afternoon. The other two photo's are a little grainy with them being a front camera selfie but I love them none the less. We were all sat under the tree on Christmas Eve, so excited for the morning ahead! Christmas is always magical when you have a child but having two, it just made it even more memorable. Our first Christmas as a family of four and we've all had the most amazing time!

Mummy & Me - February

When writing last months Mummy & Me post I was convinced that when it came to my February Mummy & Me that our baby would be here by now and that we'd finally be a family of four! She had other ideas in mind though as I'm currently 5 days overdue. As I type this it's the 25th of February and as the month draws to a close I've decided to go ahead with these two photo's from the February as she may now be born in March! The first photo is a slightly candid photo of myself on the birth ball while having a tender moment and big cuddle from Noah. He insisted on sitting on my knee and I just had to ask Nick to take a photo. It's a photo I'm going to treasure forever and one that I'll be showing both children. The second photo is my bun in the oven who has decided to keep us all waiting by being overdue. Come on little one, we can't wait to meet you!

Mummy & Me - January

It's 2017, the start of a brand new year of Mummy & Me. I can't believe that it's been almost two years since my friend Nicola over at Life Through My Eye's created this amazing linky and I'm proud to have taken part since the very beginning.

January is a very important month for us this year as it is probably going to be the last month of us being a family of three. Noah will no longer be my only child and as excited as we are to meet our new addition that thought is so surreal at the same time! Although I've now been pregnant for over 250 days it still doesn't feel real and that's probably down to how fast it's gone by!

It's rather fitting that this month's photo's are of Mummy, Noah and baby bump. Although our baby girl isn't born yet Noah is already showing such endearing moments of affection towards her. He's always talking about his "baby sister" and often asks her to hurry up! On a daily basis he will come over to me and will cuddle or stroke my bump on his own accord and this week he's been telling me how excited he is to meet her! Just think on next months Mummy & Me we might be including our daughter, that's if she decides to show up on time!

Mummy & Me - December

I can't believe we are heading towards the end of the year already. I think 2016 may possibly be the fastest year of my life and it was filled with many fantastic things, our holiday in May, big blogging opportunities, Noah turning three, lots of family days out and of course the biggest being conceiving our baby girl.

For our final Mummy & Me post of the year I just had to use these two photo's although there was quite a few to choose from this month. A quick selfie of Noah giving his Mummy a big kiss, can't beat those moments. Then the photo below, Mummy with both her babies. I'm so excited to see what 2017 brings! Have a wonderful New Year everyone!

Mummy & Me - November

Another month, another Mummy & Me post! November is always an important month for us as not only is it beginning to look a lot like Christmas but it's also Noah's birthday month too. It only makes sense to use two of his birthday photo's for this months post as this day was the highlight of our month. I can't believe Noah is now three! It only feels like two minutes ago when I was expecting him and now I'm expecting his baby sister! At the same time it also feels like he's always been here. I struggle to imagine what life was like before him, not that I ever want to. He's the apple of my eye and always will be.

Mummy & Me - October

October has been a super busy month and one that's just flown by. Thankfully I had a couple of photo's to choose from that were taken this month and they haven't all just been selfies for once. These photo's were taken right at the beginning of the month on a weekend to London for an event. We were at London Zoo and Noah was posing like a pro, as per usual. The second photo could have been framed better and been a little clearer but it is Nick taking the photo after all, I'll let him off!

Mummy & Me - September

Can you believe we are coming to the end of September already? I'm sure as I get older the weeks and months just seem to fly by even faster. This month we've had lots of family days out and my first photo for Mummy and Me this month is one we took at Blackpool Zoo. Noah was so fascinated by these huge dinosaur statues and insisted he had a photo taken with them. It was such a great day out and we made lots of lovely memories.

My second photo has to include both my babies of course. My baby girl in my tummy and my lovely Noah. He's going to make the most amazing big brother, I can just tell. Can't wait to become a Mummy of two.

Mummy & Me - August

Another month brings another Mummy & Me post which is a fantastic linky hosted by my friend Nicola who blogs at Life Through My Eyes. August has gone by in a blur and has had many highs and many lows. Pregnancy announcements, first scan, first flutters but then a death in the family too. It's safe to say I'm looking forward to seeing what September brings. I just had to chose those two selfies for this month's photo as they pretty much sum up the pair of us to a tee, serious when we need to be but very silly the majority of the time. I had to include the photo below, mummy, me and baby bump!

Mummy & Me - July

Another month, another Mummy & Me blog post! I love this linky so much as it's so easy to join in with and great to look back at. In fact it's my favourite linky and I wish more bloggers would partake too! I really like our photo for July although Noah wouldn't smile, not even after I bribed him with cake! I took this photo on the hottest day of the year which you can probably guess from the state of my hair, it doesn't do well in humidity, ha ha!

Mummy & Me - June

I can't believe it's been another month! We didn't take many photo's of the two of us in June, which is a first but this is probably the best out of the bunch! It was just a quick candid shot where Noah had sneaked his dodo in and I was giving him a big squishy nosed kiss! Mwah!

Mummy & Me - May

Noah and I had quite a few photo's taken together this month as we've been on holiday and have posed for half a dozen! With that in mind I struggled picking one this month, so have selected a few of my favourites. I love the photo above because although Noah is totally ignoring the camera and has zero expression on his face, mine says it all - I adore him.

Nicola... Life Through My Eyes

Mummy & Me - April

It's that time of the month, Mummy & Me time!

April saw Noah and I spending lots of time outdoors come rain or shine. We had lots of one on one time and took lots and lots of selfie's! Out of all the photo's we took this month I just had to choose this one because for once Noah is smiling instead of being silly or ignoring the camera! Dark circles and crows feet as side, I quite like this photo of the munchkin and I.

Mummy & Me - March

Mummy & Me is now one year old, it's been a year since Nicola over at Life Through My Eyes created this fantastic linky, which has quickly become a favourite of mine. I've taken part every month and it's so wonderful to be able to look back at them all.

It's quiet poetic that our first Mummy & Me post was taken on a family holiday in Bluestone Wales and one year later our photo was taken on another family holiday, at Sherwood Pines. Here is my Mummy & Me photo's for March and I can safely say it's one of my all time favourite photo's.

Mummy & Me - February

Another month, another Mummy & Me. Noah has changed so much since we started this link up last year in May. I'm so pleased Nicola over at Life Through My Eyes came up with this because it's so lovely to look back on.

Like every other month February has flown by in the blink of an eye, time just seems to go way too fast when you have a little one! I chose these two photo's for this month as I think it pretty much sums Noah up at the moment, sticky out tongues and bumped heads!

Nicola... Life Through My Eyes

Mummy & Me - January

January has flown by so quickly that these are actually the one two photo's I have of Noah and I from the month. They are both so bad quality and Noah isn't looking on either photo but there you go! Here are my Mummy & Me photo's from January.

Mummy & Me - December

Wow, we are at the end of December! How did that happen? Noah and I have taken many selfies this month, they aren't the best quality but I love them none the less.

The first photo I took when I cut and donated my hair to The Little Princess Trust earlier this month. I can't help but smile when I see that photo, our expressions are priceless! The second and third photo we took on the eve of Christmas Eve. Noah was giving lots of kisses and lots of cheesy smiles too. I think he was on his good behaviour as he knew Santa was on his way.

We've had a wonderful December and Christmas, I hope you have too!

Nicola... Life Through My Eyes

Mummy & Me - November

November has been and has almost gone. These two photo's are probably my favourite from every other Mummy & Me entry and it's plainly obvious why right? My baby boy turned 2 on the 12th and these shots of us both with his birthday cake really make me smile.
