Project 365 - Week 29 - 29/52
12th July - 18th July / Week 29
Sunday. Noah spent the afternoon with his Nanna at a hot air balloon festival then we drove over to pick him up. We had some dinner and then went on a two mile walk through the woods. Such a nice, easy going day. I love family days like these.
Monday is playgroup day! We were late as always despite getting ready in good time. I blame the cats, don't ask! When we finally made it there Noah played with his friends and had a blast bombing it around the place. After song time we all went into the soft play area where Noah showed off his diving skills, or should I say lack of! He is such a klutz!
Noah loves to sleep and enjoys long naps but he's never been one to fall asleep on the floor, in his high chair or while playing. In fact he has never done that, ever. He likes to sleep all cosy in his cot and even asks to go up himself. So when this happened two days on a trot I was very surprised. I had changed his nappy before I took him up for a sleep, I kissed him on his forehead and he instantly fell asleep. Precious moments.
My good friend Cassie surprised us on Wednesday by sending Noah a little surprise from her holidays. I wasn't expecting anything so when I discovered this little cutie in the mail it did bring a smile to my face. Noah spent the afternoon in the garden with his pirate friend in his pocket.
I was looking forward to Thursday all week because my Mum and Sister were coming to visit us for the afternoon. They missed their first train but once they arrived we headed out for a walk to the park and for a bite to eat. The weather was gorgeous and it was lovely being together. My sister emigrates to Los Angeles soon so moments like these are fleeting and it's very bittersweet.
Friday we didn't get up to anything very exciting but we did pop to the shops to pick up Noah some treats. At the moment he is obsessed with sticker books! It's like reliving my childhood all over again.
Saturday we decided to pay a visit to Thornton Hall Farm for the first time. A day out like this is ideal for us as we are all such animal lovers and love being outside in the fresh air too. Noah had so much fun greeting and being gentle with the animals but the most fun he had was riding on the toy tractors and pointing out all the machinery! He's such a boys boy! We will definitely be visiting again soon, it's our new favourite place.
What have you been up to this week?
Project 365 - Week 28 - 28/52
5th July - 11th July / Week 28
Noah went out for the afternoon with his Nanna on Sunday, as usual. Once we was back I introduced him to the £10 dollhouse I managed to win on eBay. He's loves it!

Monday we managed to make it to playgroup although a little late. I met up with my friend and her two boys and I just had to sneak this photo of them all playing dress up. So cute. Tuesday my Mum came to visit and we planned a lovely walk and lunch out but it was raining pretty much all day. We did manage to nip out for a quick walk but it was a shame that we weren't able to make the most of our day. Good old British weather!

It never gets old seeing Nick and Noah together and I have half a dozen photo's like this. I can't help but snap away when I see moments like this. Thursday we had miserable weather in the morning but it did perk up in the afternoon. We played out in the garden and then went to the park after Noah's nap. A laid back sort of day.

Friday the warmer weather returned and we had lots of family fun in the sun. We had a lazy Saturday visiting family, it was a nice day. Here is Noah being cheeky as ever. He shut the front door on me and ran off giggling. Little monkey!
Project 365 - Week 27 - 27/52
28th June - 4th July / Week 27
Noah spent the afternoon with his Nanna like he does most Sundays. He absolutely loves this time and is always spoilt rotten. When he came back we decided to take a little walk and have some Mummy, Noah time.
Monday we missed playgroup again, oops. He always tends to sleep in on a Monday as he is worn out from the weekend so we struggle to make it on time. We spent most the day playing out and having fun. It's impossible to keep this boy indoors!

Tuesday we had a pretty chilled out day. Here is Noah having fun in the garden as per usual! Pool party! Well sort of! I transformed the front garden into a little haven for Noah and his friends. Paddling pool, water table, slide. All three boys had so much fun and it was just endearing watching them all play together and enjoy it. I then brought out a little picnic and they gobbled it up in the shade.
Thursday was fab! We went on a little adventure. A long walk through the woods, a trip to the park and even had a little lunch date too. It was a little cooler today and we did enjoy the breeze. I love days like this. I sat there and I was just so grateful for everything that we share.

Friday, family day! I love that Nick finishes work at lunch time on a Friday. We always try to make the most of our afternoons. We went for a lovely walk through the woods and then let Noah run wild around the fields. He loves being outdoors.Saturday we had an impromptu BBQ in the front garden. Nothing sums up the sunny months more than BBQ's and paddling pools.
What have you been up to this week?
Mummy & Me - June
Hello June, Goodbye June! We are now half way through the year, how has that happened?! Time really does fly by even quicker when you have a child.
June has been a lovely month. We've been out and about a lot in the fresh air and I've really appreciated being able to stay home with Noah. I think he does appreciate it too but you can't tell from these pictures, haha. I just had to have both for this months photo's as Noah's expressions are just priceless!
"Really Mum? I'm so not in the mood for ANOTHER selfie!"
"Mother... seriously. Just stop! Totally embarrassing!"
He loves me really, I promise!

Project 365 - Week 26 - 26/52
21st June - 27th June / Week 26
Sunday was Father's day, Nick's second one. It was a busy day! We woke and gave Nick his presents (A BBQ and a book) and then we headed over to the Christening and First Birthday Party of my friends baby. All go go go! We then popped over to my Mum's so Noah could spend a bit of time with her so Nick and I went bowling for an hour. Such a busy day, but a fun one!
173
Monday saw both Nick and Noah coming down with my cold and flu symptoms so we all had a sick day together.
174
Thankfully Noah felt so much better on the Tuesday so we had a lazy morning but then we went on a long walk and I took him to the park. I always think that getting out in the fresh air makes you feel so much better.Wednesday morning brought us glorious weather so I contacted my friend and arranged a little play date. We decided to take the little ones on a walk and for a picnic in the park. We had such a great afternoon together as we usually do and I can't wait to do it again.
On Thursday my Mum decided to pay us a visit. When I knew she was almost here I sat Noah near the windowsill to look out for Nanna. When she appeared he started jumping up and down with excitement. He loves it when people come to visit. We went to the park, again! The weather was hit and miss but we didn't want that to stop us getting out and about.
177
On Friday we decided we couldn't wait any longer to set foot on our new lawn (you are supposed to wait three weeks for it to knit together, it has been 2) we set up Noah's slide and as you can see by this photo he was absolutely ecstatic!
178
Saturday we had another very busy but very fun day! We started the afternoon off by Nick, Noah and I meeting up with his Nanny, Auntie, Uncle and Cousin. We had a meal at Brewers Fayre before going on a lovely long walk in the sun shine. It was a scorcher and thankfully Thomson park has a little paddling pool so we all took our shoes off and took a dip! We also went to the park and went on a little stream train. So much fun!
We've had a busy busy week. Have you been up to much?
Project 365 - Week 25 - 25/52
14th June - 20th June / Week 25
165
Sunday was spent as usual, a morning with Mummy and Daddy. Then my Mum came to take Noah out for lunch. This boy is always in such demand! Nick and I made the most of the freetime by doing DIY and a few jobs around the house.
166
Monday it was time for playgroup. We were half an hour late but we made it and we met up with friends too. Noah always has a blast when we are there and I really think it has helped with his confidence. A few months ago he would of cried if a stranger spoke to him and would literally cling to me. Nowadays he's fine and as soon as we arrive he runs off to play with the other children and parents.
167
Starting him young! He's obsessed with the dishwasher!
168
On Wednesday it was Nick's 29th birthday! My Mum came round to visit us during the day and then when Nick came home from work I cooked up a big roast dinner to celebrate! Fab day.
169
Thursday was the start of my cold and I felt absolutely dreadful. Noah's Nan actually offered to take him for the afternoon to give me a little break which I really needed. I think he had a ball while he was there. She said he was playing outside most of the day with the dogs, her Goddaughter and his Granddad. It was nice for him to have a little change of scenery too I think! 170
Friday was such a miserable day. We ended up getting ready to go for a walk and it was cold and drizzly but we still went out. How is it that my toddler is wearing a winter hat and coat in June?!
171
Today, Saturday I feel like the world most rubbish Mum. I'm asbolutely smothered in a cold, aching and feel so sick. I've had limited contact with Noah because I really don't want him to catch it so Nick has been watching him most of the day. Naturally, this makes me feel guilty but I just really needed some time. I sat in the bathroom with the shower on hot just so the steam could clear my sinuses. I've had it a few days now so I'm hoping it's going to pass soon. Urgh.Have you had a good week?
Project 365 - Week 24 - 24/52
7th June - 13th June / Week 24
158
Sunday Nick and I had a little bit of time to ourselves while Noah was at his Nanna's. We did a little DIY and then went for a lovely walk around a lake that is local to us. How beautiful?
159
Monday was a usual Monday. Noah slept in and we missed playgroup. This meant we had a lazy day playing puzzles, cuddling and reading books.

Here is Noah blowing kisses to me on Tuesday morning.
161
On Wednesday I met up with a friend and her son Emilio. There is only 10 weeks difference between them both, Noah being the younger one and it's lovely to see them together. We went for a stroll in the sun and has a picnic on the grass.
162
On Thursday I decided to take Noah on another super long walk in the sun and for a picnic in the park. When the weather is so nice it's almost a crime not to! On days like this I am so grateful that I am able to spend every day at home with Noah. I sat there on the bench with Noah and had a smile on my face. Bliss.
163
On Friday our soil and lawn arrived so we could start the work on our front garden. With all the renovating that we have been doing this had been the last on our list. Noah helped water the soil before we laid the grass and he loved helping out. The lawn is now down but we have to wait for three weeks for it to knit before we can step foot on it.

Saturday is family outing day and we took Noah to a big nature park that is local to us. Nature parks are one of the benefits of living in Lancashire as there is always countryside and nature right on your door step. This particular park had a lake, boat rides, a play park and even a steam train. We didn't take any money with us so next time we go we will be taking a boat and train ride, both of which will be firsts for Noah!
