Hello 2018! Just like that we've had the first week of the year and it's certainly been the calm before the storm of normality. Nick went back to work on Wednesday so although the start of the week was very relaxed, as the days went on it slowly got busier and more hectic. Noah is back at nursery this week after two and a half weeks off, it's flown! It'll be strange to be doing the nursery runs again and I can't say I'm particularly looking forward to it as we've all really enjoyed our lazy mornings together!

What have you been up to this week?

  1. Been visiting family and friends :- Wishing them a Happy New Year! Some of usual routinue. Unfortunately Mum had a fall and required admission to hospital. Long wait for ambulance, and long wait in Accident and Emergency. Though staff considerate and apologetic about length of waiting times. Due to Winter Crisis information board in Accident and Emergency stated.

So been back and forth seeing to Mum, she is desperate to be back home. Though pleased that hospital food has improved since last hospital stay :- 2-3 years ago.

  2. Beautiful photos, I was dreading the early morning rush of Megan being back in school this morning but we did it, Mollie slept in until 10, I'm so jealous lol, Connor has teachers training today so is back in tomorrow, I'm looking forward to getting rid of half the junk that's accumulated over Christmas xxx

  3. Nice to read that Noah is back at nursery. You mention "nursery runs" , I'd like to think that it would be nursery walks. As healthy to get some exercise for all of you. You mention that you still have some weight to loose following your pregnancy with Ava. Walking back and forth in regards to getting Noah to Nursery and home :- may well help you loose weight, tone up your muscles, etc.

Nursery can be so beneficial for children, in regards to education, socialising, getting into a routinue, etc.

  4. I believe that Princess Charlotte started nursery recently. Hopefully she will settle in well. January seems an unusual time to start at nursery, though maybe it will give Charlotte some time to settle before her little sibling is due to be born.

I think that there has been mention of children starting nursery at age two years. Princess Charlotte is 2, and will turn 3 at the beginning of May. Nursery can be good for children as allows for socialising as well as opportunities of variety in regards to ply, arts and crafts, etc.
