Fun to Learn Friends Art Magazine - Review

Just like most children his age, Noah loves kids magazines and they have become a regular weekend treat. Fun To Learn Friends Art magazine offers a range of screen-free, creative activities based around the characters kids know and love. These activities are perfect for children to enjoy either on their own or with help from Mum and Dad. Friends Art contains 36 pages of fun ideas to make, design, colour and draw, along with lots of interactive stickers, and a 4 page cut-out card activity.

Every issue features a craft kit gift with all the items you need to make a wonderful themed creation, which is explored and explained in a straightforward manner in the magazine. If your child is like Noah, who loves creative activities, favourite characters and sharing quality time with their family then Friends Art is the magazine to go for.

This week we were sent Issue 5 of the Magazine, which arrived just in time for when Noah had come home from nursery. He was so impressed with the magazine because the cover featured PJ Masks and Paw Patrol, two of his favourites cartoons! The free gift of glitter and art supplies was also very exciting for him, he couldn't wait to get his hands all glittery!

The magazine is absolutely cram packed full of activities which are perfect for after school, at the weekend or for keeping them busy during the summer holidays. This issue has 19 easy craft ideas and 110 stickers included.

Noah has always enjoyed stickers so I wasn't surprised when he asked to do those first. It wasn't a case of sticking any old sticker anywhere. He liked the fact that Ben & Holly had different scenarios and had to add the correct stickers to each picture. This took about 15 minutes as he took a lot of care to get his stickers in the correct place.

Next, we made the Shark chatterbox which was very simple to do, and which took me back to my childhood years! All you need for this activity is a pair of scissors, then it's a case of following some simple instructions on where to fold. Noah helped with every step of this activity and he was amazed when he saw the final result! He now has his very own shark and has been using it as a puppet to sing 'Baby Shark' to his baby sister!

There are still so many activities that we've got to do and the next on our list is Olivia Octopus! We've got a couple of toilet roll tubes set aside so perhaps we'll create a whole Octopus family!

This magazine is recommended from 3 years of age and I can see it being enjoyed by most primary school aged children. It's released every 4 weeks, costs £3.99 and is available in all good newsagents and supermarkets. For further information please visit the website. Also, Fun to Learn Friends will be taking over UK Mums TV between the 16th-30th July and there will be lots of free downloads and competitions to take part in!
