Living Arrows #12 - Noah's 5th Birthday

That's right! Noah is now five! How did that happen? I remember his birth like it was only yesterday, his first steps, first words, everything. It's difficult to comprehend that all that happened such a long time ago now. I remember thinking that I had all the time in the world before he started school, and to his 5th birthday, but in reality, it's flown by. It's so bittersweet.

His birthday fell on a Monday this year, which was typical with him starting school this year, but it didn't matter too much. We held his birthday party, the day before, at a trampoline park, which cost a small fortune (never again!) He picked out a Chuppa Chup lollipop cake and the party hat you see in these photos. All his friends came, some who weren't even invited, which caused a bit of a hoo-ha, but they all had a whale of a time! We let him open his presents from the party on Sunday, but he had to wait until after school on Monday to open his gifts of us. He didn't mind this because it meant he was looking forward to it all day at school, another lot of presents to open! We also bought him a second birthday cake so we could sing happy birthday on his actual birthday! Here are some of the photo's I took on his birthday, right after he finished school. I can't say he was best pleased having to pose for these, he had presents to open after all!
