  2. I'm jealous that it's warm enough to eat ice cream where you are. I'm still wearing several layers as the weather is rubbish in the NW.

  3. I did Google 99 in order to determine origins of the name for the above item ( ice cream cone with a small chocolate flake).

  4. Day of Rest :- I'm sure Sunday used to be referred to as " The Day of Rest". Unfortunately awakened this morning by the noise of grass cutting / trimming. Not a nice way to be awakened. 24/7 Society :- Is that what we have become. America I believe was known by that term "24/7 Society". As some shops and businesses open and functioning over those times :- Constantly.

We do need to have " Peace and Quiet" at times in order to rest, recharge, recuperate, relax, etc. Just when is it meant to happen. We had roadworks up until yesterday. Now noise from grass cutting, wish they would finish the job :- As been in progress for over an hour. Longing for some "Peace and Quiet" at home.

  5. We tend to associate / link ice cream with summer / summer weather. Just as we associate / link dogs with park /s. We often take the dog to the park for a walk / exercise, good for socialisation experience/s. Not sure if you are at the park or near to a park in the photo. As there is little subject matter within the photograph.

Watching Supervet tonight Wednesday 17/07/2019, on Channel 5. We do love animals / pets. Noel in this episode has a cat who has been injured, it seems quite badly. On phoning the female owner of the cat ( the cat's name is Sian), the owner replied to Noel with the term Darling . I was really and truly surprised at a customer / client using a term known as a term of endearment which is meant for a loved one (e.g. Husband, wife, partner in a relationship of love , close family member, young child, etc). I am aware that there is variety within countries, counties, areas, etc. But sadly, I am concerned at what this behaviour, speech, is communicating to others ( as may be :- It is ok to call everyone / anyone Darling. Confusion :- Exactly what is the term meaning / implying, Is it perhaps sending the message that everyone is as loving, caring, compassionate as our close loving family and friends?)

I thought there was an element of Professional distance, Respect, Personal Space, etc. The cat owner has an adult daughter who has health concerns (perhaps she needs Protection, Guidance in Regards to Respect of self and others). They are in difficult, stressful, vulnerable situation. As genuinely concerned about their beloved cat's health, welfare, etc. Beautiful cat. Noel does seem to have to deal with some difficult, complicated and very diverse situations / circumstances.

Oh! If only there was a Health Service, maybe similar to NHS (National Health Service) for pets. As they do feel like part of the family. A difficult time, and now also a very expensive (financial ) time :- When pet / s are in need of Vet Care. Possibly most people make use of pet insurance schemes. Though I believe there can sometimes be difficulty when it comes to aiming for pat insurance to cover full costs of some vet care.

  7. Due to the recent Hot, Summer Weather we have consumed so, so much ice cream, ice lollies, cool drinks, etc. Certainly been kept busy keeping the freezer stocked, and restocked in order to keep up with demand. May well be that we are in need of a larger freezer. May make enquiries, etc.
