Some people are mad about shoes and handbags, for some it's all about jewellery and hats, for me though, it's all about socks. You can't beat a nice pair of socks and I happen to think that they may excellent gifts too. That said, I'm quite fussy with the socks that I wear. I like them to look nice, the funkier the better, but most importantly they have to feel good too. They can't be too tight or too loose and they must be super soft.
SockShop is an online store which sells, yes you guessed it, socks, but also tights, underwear and accessories too. They stock them for women, men, children, babies and for many different occasions. They offer their own range of products and around 50 named brands too.
My first port of call was the superhero-themed socks because we are such big fans of the Marvel and DC universe. I chose the Captain America set for Nick, the Marvel multipack for Noah, and the Superwoman set for myself. All three sets are of regular thickness and length and feature standard toe and cuff seams. They are also officially licensed and cost just £7.99 per pack.

Noah was delighted that his multipack featured not one, but four of his favourite Marvel characters; Spider-Man, Hulk, Wolverine and Iron Man. He keeps asking for his new "Marvel socks" over every other pair he owns and he has worn them under his school uniform this week too. He doesn't want to take them off.
Last, but not least we ordered a couple of pairs of Happy Socks which are a brand that SockShop stock on their website. I selected a pair for us all, a Candy print for Nick and Ava, and Pizza and Donuts for Noah and I. They are made from 86% cotton, 12% polyamide, 2% elastane - a total dream to wear. The kids are obsessed with the designs and keep saying that they look good enough to eat! The adults-sized pairs retail at £12.99 a pair, whereas the kids' ones cost £5.99. I'll definitely buy more in the future.
