I'm so sentimental when it comes to my children, just like most parents out there. I cling to everything and anything and really struggle to let anything go. I've saved so many different things since my two were born, from their first outfits and first dummy's, through to locks of their hair and even their crusty old belly buttons. Please tell me that sounds more strange "on paper" and that most parents have done the same?! Haha. As you can imagine over the past couple of years I've collects so much and have been cramming it all into shoe boxes. I needed a better and more permanent storage solution and that's where Made With Love and Sparkle came in. 

Made With Love and Sparkle is a website which provides lots of unique gift ideas, all of which can be personalised in many different ways. I was asked if I'd like to choose two products from their website and I decided to go for the unicorn memory box for Ava and the dinosaur memory box for Noah. I loved the simple yet effective artwork, the typography and the sweet verses on them. The verses can personalised, but I liked them so much that I decided not to.

When the memory boxes arrived I was really impressed because they looked even better than they did on the website. They were also larger than I expected, both in depth and overall size, which is great for people like me who have lots to store. The dimensions are 32x32x12cm. However, I was surprised by how light they were, they hardly weigh a thing. This could be a positive if you have lots to put inside it, but it could also mean that they aren't as robust as they could be. I'm sure that they've undergone lots of testing and that they'll be fine, but I will let you know if anything changes. So far so good.

Noah started school in September and brings painting, letters and his work home with him every day and I've amassed quite the collection already. His box is the perfect place to store all his school work and it's nice to be able to keep it all in one place. We've already spent so much time looking through everything together. I've not moved Ava's bits and pieces into hers yet, but we did give her box a little trial run with some of her favourite things, which she ended up thinking was a game! As you can see it can store quite a lot to be able to hold a Hatchimal and a Cabbage Patch Kid.

Fingerlings Glitter Pandas - Review & Giveaway

Fingerlings became the must-have toy last year and have been all the rage ever since. They sold out everywhere and I remember parents struggling to find any for their little ones, it was crazy! Fingerlings Glitter Pandas are utterly adorable and tons of fun, a lot like their Fingerlings siblings. They love to be held and to cling onto different things, especially fingers. They respond in lots of different ways, from noise, motion, and touch, making them a very interactive toy. They talk and sing, blink and blow kisses too. They even fall asleep when you rock them gently. Noah likes to make loud sounds to startle Archie, whereas Ava totally mothers him!
