Playgroups, parks and playdoh - 7/52 - #littleloves

Here I am again, sharing my little loves from this week! How are we 7 weeks into the year already?

Read
Again I have had zero time to read this week and I blame it all on what I have been watching this week which I will write about below! I do have some Galaxy Quick Reads to get through so will start one next week, promise.

Watched
The reason why I haven't read anything this week and have been staying up till 2am in the morning is because I am absolutely hooked with the TV show Hannibal. It's funny because I said I would it last week's post! If you are looking for a new show to watch I would really recommend it, it's so gripping and shocking!

Wore
Uggs, leggings, jumpers, parka's. Story of my life. I dread this part of Little Loves each week because it's always so embarrassing telling you how unadventurous I am with my clothing! Noah on the other hand has been wearing some awesome new cloth nappy designs from the wonderful Baba+Boo, which we just love.

Heard
Noah is really coming on with his speech at the moment and the past week or so he has added two new words to his spiel; "Dog" and "Grandad". Dog came first which is pronounced as "Gog" and it's so cute listening to him say it over and over. The word "Grandad" came a few days later and is pronounced "Grannng" or something similar but he's definitely trying to say it. If you say Nan to him he will say Grandad back, if you say Grandad he will say Nan. Is amazing watching him learn all these new words.

Made
We made shapes out of Playdoh or should I say I did and Noah repeatedly bashed them with the rolling pin, then got fed up and threw it on the floor. He doesn't really enjoy messy play or anything like this just yet but I hope that he does as he gets older.

And lastly
We've had a good week this week. On Monday I took Noah to playgroup for the first ever time (don't judge!) and we will certainly be going back next week. It was a really quiet session so I am hoping it's a little busier next time as it did make it a bit awkward. We've been to the park a couple of times after discovering one a 5 minute walk away! Yay for playgroup and parks!

  1. We absolutely love playgroup in our house...we tried out a few and one was a million times better than the others! It's brilliant. I love that he is saying new words! My husband and I got a bit crazy when we start hearing words. It is SO exciting!!! Those cloth nappies are gorgeous! x

    1. We wanted to go to playgroup again today but Noah was a terror at night and only let me Mummy sleep for 3 hours so we had to pass on it today.

      Thanks for the comment

  2. I'm not adventurous with my clothing either. I have the same three or four outfits for work that I wear week in, week out. And when I'm out of work I'm in my jeans and a jumper! Have a great week x

    1. Glad it's not just me. I'm boring when it comes to clothes!

  3. I never took the kids to baby clubs or playgroup. I found it stressful, clicky and hard work. It just wasn't my kind of thing. I am completely the same as you when it comes to the wore section - I live in jeans or leggings! x
