Bobux Shoes Spring Summer 2018 Collection - Review & Competition

It's essential for children to wear decent shoes, ones which fit correctly, are comfortable and offer support. Bobux offer all of that and more which is why I've raved about the brand since 2015 when they sent Noah a pair of their Xplorer shoes to review. They couldn't have come at a better time as he'd just started to walk and they were the perfect shoes for him to take his first steps in.

As you can imagine when they contacted me again a few weeks ago, to chose a pair of shoes for both Noah and Ava I was very happy to oblige. I was sent a sneak preview of their Spring/Summer 2018 collection and picked my two favourites. This was very hard as there's so many fantastic shoes in the collection.

First of all I decided to chose a pair for Noah. I browsed for quite some time before settling on a pair of Duke I-Walk in Black Ash. I just had to go for these because the style and colour of the shoes will pretty much go with every outfit he has. I also liked how they can be worn with both casual and smart clothing.

As soon as I took the shoes out of the box I noticed the standard of quality right away. The upper of the shoe is made from 100% full grain leather and they have a cushioned inner heel. Noah has given them a huge thumbs up. He said they are very comfy and that they are even cosier than his Spider-Man slippers!

The back of the shoes feature a pull tab which makes it quick and easy to put on, which is ideal for a 4 year old. Inside the shoes are hidden elastics which make them a secure and snug fit. Although they are super soft and comfortable on the inside they have flexible yet hard wearing soles, which makes them perfect for active children like Noah.

The Duke is a practical, functional and comfortable shoe and one which is on trend with the exposed stitching details and sleek design. They'll look great with everything and I know that Noah will get so much wear out of them, especially in the coming months. They retail at £46.00 and are available in 5 different colours.

Next up we have the pair which I chose for Ava and I have to admit that I struggled to decide which to choose. I could have easily picked half a dozen as there's just so much choice when it comes to different styles and colours. Again I looked for comfort and practicality, in a colour that would go with everything.

After deliberating for quite some time I decided to go for the Louise in the Step Up stage, it looked the perfect shoe to me! I then had to decide which colour to go for and I did struggle but in the end I chose the navy shimmer over the hot pink.

Just like with the Duke, on opening the quality of the shoes just blew away. You only have to glance at them to see how well made and designed they are. The inner and upper of the shoes are made from 100% leather and the t-bar design is ideal for comfort, giving extra room for puffy baby feet. They fit Ava like a glove and although she'd only walked in shoes a handful of times she seemed to get on with them very well. She's likes to bring them over to me and tries to put them on herself. I think she loves them even more than I do! 

They are such stunning shoes, I really cant get over them. The T-bar style and Velcro fastening, with the exposed stitching and simple gold stud gives such a beautiful and traditional look. They are so effortlessly chic and versatile that they'd look perfect with any outfit. From a dainty dress and tights through to funky leggings and a top, I think I'd struggle to find something they wouldn't match. These shoes cost £36 and are worth every penny. I know that Ava will get so much wear out of them. 

I can't tell you how much I love Bobux. I'd actually go as far as saying they are my all time favourite children's shoe brand. Not only are their shoes gorgeous to look at but they are so comfortable and hard wearing too. What more can you ask for?
