BABY born Interactive Wonderland Dragon - Review

Step into a world of magic and fairytale fun with the BABY born Wonderland range. These magical themed toys will make your child's imagination run wild and the new additions to the range are so very exciting. One of the new releases is the BABY born Interactive Wonderland Dragon which we were recently sent to try out and review. Included with the toy is a magic wand, dragon egg and a baby dragon! Batteries are also included too.

When the Interactive Wonderland Dragon arrived I was surprised by how big it was. It's not too big like some toys can be but it was a little bigger than I expected, I was pleasantly surprised. My first impressions were really good because I thought it looked absolutely beautiful, almost too beautiful to be touched by grubby hands! I couldn't help but think what a perfect present this would make for both boys and girls alike.

As you can see as soon as we opened the Wonderland Dragon Noah was in awe and couldn't stop hugging and kissing her. He was totally enchanted by her. Once his excitement calmed down a little I showed him how the toy works.

There are numerous ways to interact with the Wonderland Dragon our favourite by holding the wand and tapping her forehead. Her eyes and nostrils start to shine and she begins to make cute dragon noises. If you tap her forehead with the wand a second time she then starts to walk around, flap her wings and makes lots more funny but very cute noises. I also have to mention that although this toy has batteries and does make sounds and movements it's not too loud or overpowering which is great for us parents!

And lastly for our favourite part, something very special. The Interactive Wonderland Dragon actually lays and egg which has a tiny baby dragon inside! This is such a brilliant touch and something that has really fascinated Noah. He does struggle to open the egg but once it's open he's delighted to find the baby inside and understands that they are Mother and Baby. He often puts the baby back inside the egg and says that she's tired and needs a rest. It's very sweet and endearing to watch him role play in this way.

I hope you can tell by this review how much we adore the BABY born Interactive Wonderland Dragon. I have nothing to say but praise. It's not just an attractive toy to look at but it's also a toy that will just intrigue your child to no end and really encourage their imaginative play. You can purchase the Interactive Wonderland Dragon for £49.99 which may sound a little pricey but it really isn't for what you're getting in return. I can't recommend it enough.

Do you like the look of the BABY born Interactive Wonderland Dragon?

My First Baby Annabell Let's Play #NationalBabyDay - Review & Competition

On the 2nd of May it's #NationalBabyDay and to celebrate the occasion Zapf kindly sent a doll from their new SS16 range for us to review, the My First Baby Annabell Let's Play. I believe that all toys are gender-neutral and that toys are toys and shouldn't be generalised into genders so I couldn't wait for her to arrive as I knew that Noah would have lots of imaginative fun with her.

My First Baby Annabell is a lovely interactive doll. She suckles from her bottle and once it's empty you can wind her and she burps! You can also tickle her under her arms to make her giggle and if you hold her above your head she laughs wildly. After all the fun if you lay her down she will then close her eyes and go soundly to sleep, ahhh. The My First Baby Annabell is pint sized perfection and would be ideal as a first doll for anyone's child.

The Baby Annabell range is a family favourite when it comes to dolls and it's no surprise as to why. Their dolls are incredibly life like, well made and robust. Their creations focus on the social and emotional bonding side of parenting and encourages both empathy and the sense of responsibility too. It really is a joy to watch your child play make believe and role play with them.

My First Baby Annabell Let's Play costs £29.99 and comes fully dressed in a romper suit and hat and a bottle and little sheep is included too. How would you like to win one?
