Zomlings - Review & Competition

If you're a parent then you will know all the latest toy crazes and the toys which are the rage at the moment. Collectables and blind bags are two which are very popular with children of all ages. I think YouTube has played a huge part in increasing their popularity, there are so many unboxing and reveal videos and Noah is one of those children who can't get enough of them. Blind bags and collectables are amongst his favourite things so when I was offered a box of Series 6 Zomlings to review I was so excited to accept.

Zomlings are a collectable range of colourful, crazy and unique characters and there is an impressive 105 different Zomlings to collect. The target age range is 4-7 due to their size. They've been so popular with the kids that they've come back for their sixth series and this time they have a super cool futuristic theme. The latest range is called Zomlings in the Future and you can really see why with their new hi-tech vehicles, futuristic new world and funky outfits and characters.

I made the mistake of telling Noah that he had a very special Zomlings delivery on the way and every morning he would look out for the postman. He'd even ask him, "Have you got my Zomlings today?" He was so excited and he couldn't wait for them to arrive!

Once they were delivered Noah insisted on opening up the box straight away. Inside we found a Starter Pack, a Blister Pack, Capsules, Blind Bags and Zom-Mobiles! It was filled to the brim with Zomlings, Noah thought Christmas had come early!

Noah didn't know where to begin when it came to opening up his new Zomling collection but he started with his favourites, the blind bags! He was so happy when he realised he could open them himself because sometimes it can be difficult for young children and they need the help of an adult, which can spoil the excitement. He opened the blind bags in minutes and each time he would smile or laugh at the crazy creature he found inside. What I love about these blind bags is that they only cost 50p each which is in this day and age is unheard of. Other types of blind bags can set you back £3 a time! This makes Zomlings affordable as a treat from parents and pocket money friendly too.

It probably took Noah a good 15 minutes to open up everything that we were sent. We only had the odd duplicate, which doesn't bother Noah anyway because he likes having spares! He even had a couple of Silver / Ultra Rare and Gold / Limited Edition Zomlings too, which made his entire week! They are displayed proudly on his bedside table, in their Zom-Mobiles!

As mentioned above, Zomlings are great value for money and the prices are as follows. The Starter Pack (£4.00), Blister Pack (£8.00), Capsule (£2.50) and Zom-Mobiles (£1.50) followed suit as such a fun and exciting bunch of products which are excellent value for money. In addition to the lower priced items there is a wider range of products, the Magic Trick School (£5.00), Pirate and Race Blister Packs (£12.00 each) and the Crazy School Bus (£15.00).

Zomlings receive a huge thumbs up from Noah, he's always playing with them and acting out little stories with them. He can't wait to see what they release next! Now for a competition!
