There are so many TV shows and cartoons from my childhood that make me feel nostalgic the moment I set eyes on them and Sooty is one of them. He is one of the characters that I grew up watching and loving and it delights me that he is still around today.
I was recently sent Sooty ABC - Learn the Alphabet on DVD and I couldn't wait to pop on it, never mind my toddler! It brought me right back to being 8 years old, sat on the sofa at my Nanna's house. I loved the trip down memory lane and Noah really enjoyed being introduced to Sooty, Sweep and Soo too.
Although Noah is a little young to grasp the alphabet just yet he thoroughly enjoyed the DVD. He giggled and pointed at the TV throughout and I often see him walking around carrying the case of the DVD. I think it will be a great help when we get to the stage of introducing the alphabet,
