Little Tikes Spiralin Seas Water Table - Review

AD - I received this product for the purpose of this review.

As a family, we are huge Little Tikes fans. We love their products, especially their extensive range of outdoor toys. In fact, we recently reviewed the Little Tikes Fairy Cozy Coupe and are delighted to be collaborating with them again, this time with one of their water tables! I was given the option of four different water tables, all of which looked fantastic, however, I opted for the Spiralin Sea's Waterpark as I thought it would be suitable for both Noah and Ava.
It arrived a few days later, in a huge box, with a dozen plastic pieces ready to be assembled. I decided to tackle this my own, in the blazing heat, and didn't realise that there would be screws involved. Due to my presumption, it took a lot longer than it would if I'd had been prepared. So, my friends, preparation is key! Get those screwdrivers at the ready!

Features: Children develop “put and take” and early motor skills with this engaging water table. Drop character balls down spiral, watching them go round and round and down into the lazy river. Turn the Ferris wheel to scoop up and drops off balls. Fill the cup and pour into the funnel to power twin water wheels. Turn the spinner that powers the “lazy river”. Holds 7 gallons of water. Accessories included; 5 character squirt balls and a scooping cup.

Once assembled I was really impressed with it, from both an aesthetic and functional standpoint. It looked entertaining, engaging and exciting, and Ava must have thought the same because she ran over to investigate it as soon as she set eyes on it.

It's so much more than a bog-standard water table with the different activity stations it has to offer. There's a spinning Ferris wheel, a spiraling ball drop, a lazy river, twin water wheels, and 6 accessories. Ava went straight to the wheel first and placed the character balls into the "seats". She didn't need any direction with this, she knew what to do and they were spinning around in no time. The character-themed balls are a great addition, Ava adores them. She enjoys pointing out the different characters or their colours and squirting water out of them too.

It's described as just the right size for toddlers and I agree, it's ideal for Ava. Noah, on the other hand, is a tall 5-year-old but has no problem bending down to it, or playing on his knees which makes me feel confident that they will have years of fun with it. It's also worth mentioning how robust and solid the table is. Both kids tend to lean on it when playing and it's never budged. It's definitely made to high-quality specifications like most Little Tikes toys are.

Not only is this water table so much fun but it's designed to develop fine motor skills and imaginative play, whilst teaching things like sharing, and cause and effect. Noah and Ava have had hours of fun with it already, both in the sun and in the rain. I know that it'll be used for years to come.

The Little Tikes Spiralin Seas Water Park is suitable for children from 2 years of age, has an RRP of £54.99 but can be found on offer online at places like Smyths Toys.

Little Tikes Fairy Cozy Coupe - Review

AD - This is a PR Collaboration.

Little Tikes are a much-loved brand, one which has provided years of fun for children, not just in this country but across the world too. This year Little Tikes celebrate their 50th birthday which I think speaks volumes. They must be doing something right to still be a household name so many years later.

To celebrate their birthday I was offered a selection of different toys for the kids to review. I could have chosen a sandpit, or a water table, both of which looked amazing but it had to be the Cozy Coupe! Does anything scream Little Tikes more than their iconic Cozy Coupe? Their ride on cars have been around since 1979 (longer than I've been alive) and 40 years later children are still drawn to them, like a moth to the flame! They've certainly stood the test of time.

Cozy Coupe's have evolved over the years, making slight improvements here and there but the main thing to change is how we aren't limited to just one type of car anymore. The classic red Cozy Coupe is still available but there's now so many other different colours and designs to choose from. There's a Cozy Coupe perfect for every child, whether it's the dinosaur one, the princess, the fireman, the taxi cab, the police car and so on. I decided to go all out and opted for the Fairy Cozy Coupe for the purpose of this review.

The Cozy Coupe arrived in a large cardboard box and needed to be assembled. It was a little trickier to put together than we anticipated, however, I left that part to Nick and I put myself on sticker duty. Most of the Fairy details are applied by adding numerous stickers, in fact, even the stickers had stickers on. It took around an hour to put together but it was worth every minute because I know that it's well put together, sturdy, robust and will last the children years.

Features:
Front wheels spin 360˚ for easy maneuverability
Parent push-handle and safety floorboard for push-along mode
Remove the floorboard to switch to child-powered mode
Toot the working horn for role play fun
Turn the clicking ignition switch
Open and close the fuel cap
High seat back and cup holders in the rear

It didn't take long before Ava was glued to the Cozy Coupe's seat, she was raring to go! In fact, she was sat in the driver's seat before it had a roof or a set of wheels and when it was time to give it a test drive she was straight out the door. At just two years old she finds it easy to climb in and our the car and took to the steering wheel and horn straight away.

Not only does Ava spend time "driving" around in her new Cozy Coupe but it's also a catalyst for so many role-play scenarios for her too. She likes to drive off to the shops to buy some snacks, or she declares that she's going to work to see her Daddy. She also likes to grab her little handbag and one of her dolls to take out in the car with her. It's so cute to watch her play.

The kids have only had the Cozy Coupe for a few weeks but if I'd have bought it I would already have my money worth! It's played with constantly. If Ava isn't in it then Noah and his best friend are taking turns to have a go. It's become quite the attraction on our street, it's like a moth to the flame, just like I mentioned earlier.

The Little Tikes Fairy Cozy Coupe is
suitable for children from 18 months of age and retails at £49.99. Visit the Cozy Coupe section on the Little Tikes website to find your nearest stockist.

Little Tikes Stroll N Go Stroller - Review & Competition

I was recently contacted asking if we would like to try out the Little Tikes Stroll’ N Go. The Stroll' N Go is described as a lightweight stroller that folds in seconds and is the perfect travel companion for families on the move. Noah is now two years old and weighs two stone and we were just about to start looking for a stroller so it couldn't have come at a better time.

Once it arrived I decided to set it up right away. It does need some assembly but it's straight forward enough and if I can do it then I'm sure everybody else can too. All pieces simply click into place and no tools are needed.

My first impressions was how light it was compared to the big bulky pram that I was currently using. It also steered smoothly and easily in my front room. I couldn't wait to get Noah in it and go for test run.

Features:

Peak-a-boo window
Built-in organizer pocket and storage basket
Weight 16.53 lbs (7.50 kg)Dimensions 42 x 15.5 x 25 in

What we liked
The main thing that we love about this stroller is how it is so lightweight and easy to push and manoeuvre. Having used a bulky pram for the past two years it feels like heaven to push the Stroll N' Go! We've taken it through muddy fields and through cobbled streets and neither have been a bother.

The extra large hood and rain cover is just what you need with a stroller and a welcome addition. Both of which are great for rain and shine.

Another fantastic attribute that the Stroll N' Go has is it's umbrella fold. It's easy to do and can easily be folded up one handed. It is perfect for travelling with whether it be by plane or bus. We plan on taking it on holiday with us in May.

The built in pocket and storage basket is also great and both have been used each time we've been out with the stroller.

What we didn't like
I wish there was more recline positions. Although there are a few the seat doesn't sit up perfectly straight and that is Noah's preference even when napping in a pram. I often found him trying to sit up straighter in it but there's no option to but if your child doesn't mind about that it wouldn't be a problem.

I also wished the straps had some sort of padding because they are quite thin and rough. As I mentioned we plan to take the stroller abroad with us and Noah will be sat in it wearing no t shirt and swim shorts and I can imagine them rubbing on him. I'm going look to buy some padded covers to add to it myself.

What we think
The Stroll N' Go is lightweight, simple to fold and easy to push and a stroller that we will continue to use and with ease, probably until Noah doesn't need one any more. It currently costs £83.00 over on Amazon and I think that's a fair price for what you get, it's a nice little run around!

Little Tikes Fish 'n' Splash Water Table

With Summer just around the corner we have been eagerly anticipating the sunshine and have been excitedly preparing for it's arrival. We've been prepping the garden at the new house and have been deliberating over what garden toys to buy. Noah has just turned 19 months old so it's the first year he's been able to enjoy garden activities so we can't wait!

We were recently sent the Little Tikes Fish N Splash Water Table to review and it couldn't of come at a better time. I was so excited to show it to Noah because he does love a good splash!

The water table arrived in a rather large yet light box. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the table was to set up, we had it up and ready in a matter of minutes.

As soon as Noah spotted the water table he headed straight for it and dove in. I didn't even have time to roll his sleeves up as he was so eager to dive in and play.

Details-
The water table costs £49.99 (Currently on special offer at £39.99 online.)
Minimum assembly required but comes with an easy to read manual.
Recommended age 2 year and onwards.

Holds up to 30 litres of water.
Can also be used as a sand table.
Included are 10 accessories; a fishing rod, net, cups, turtle, fish, frog, a crab.

What we liked-
The water table was so easy to assemble, which was a huge plus for Nick and I. We are usually terrible at trying to put anything together but thankfully this was almost fun to put together.

The product is bold, bright and attractive to the eye. It's also sturdy, well made and easy to move.

I like how it's a toy that is going to grow with my child. He is 19 months now and although he can't hook a fish yet he will in time and I can see him having many years of fun with it.

We all loved the different accessories that were included, they made the water table so much more fun. They were a nice addition.

Noah just loves it in it's entirety! He spent a good half an hour stood there splashing about. This is pretty incredible considering he has a very short attention span!

What we didn't like-
The water fountain and spinning Lilly pad is a good idea and an attractive feature but for some reason it wouldn't spin very well. I don't know if this is how it's supposed to work but we couldn't get it to spin very well.

Another little niggle we have is that the legs cannot be removed from the tray once it's been assembled. This of course isn't a huge problem but it would of been nice to be able to dismantle come autumn to save on storage space.

All in all we were all a fan of this product. As you can see by the photo's Noah had an absolute blast splashing about and pouring the water all down himself. The Fish 'n' Splash water table is certainly going to be enjoyed this Summer and will be treasured for years to come.
