Review: Organic Bambino Boutique

I've said it once and I will say it again, us new Mum's are always looking for fab new brands and companies to support and indulge in and Organic Bambino Boutique are one of my most recent finds.

Organic Bambino Boutique is a family run business that was started after one gorgeous baby boy was born. Rachel, the founder of Organic Bambino Boutique loved dressing him in bright, bold and colourful clothing and struggled to find what she was looking for here in the UK. Her family had recently emigrated to Australia and were sending clothes over for the new baby and she was very impressed with the different styles and quality of clothing. She didn't want to have to rely on packages from the other side of the world and decided to source and sell them herself and so Organic Bambino Boutique was born! They aim to offer unique and different designer and organic clothing from all over the globe.

Noah was sent the Alfie Playsuit from the Green Nippers collection to review. At first glance, it wasn't something I would of bought Noah but I liked that as I always open to trying new things. It is 100% organic cotton and I was so impressed with the quality of it. Noah comfortably played all afternoon in the playsuit and I felt good knowing he had something so soft against his skin whilst he was wriggling about.

We was also sent a bandana bib from the Funky Giraffe range. This is a brand I have heard of before and I was happy to see the collection on the website. The price is insanely cheap for a bib that is so well made. It is top quality and comes in countless different designs. I will be stocking up on these bibs as Noah is constantly dribbling at the minute and they are currently just £2 each.

Noah and I are very impressed and we love Organic Bambino Boutique. Make sure to check out the blog and the website as they are always adding to their collection and as it is a boutique, once it's gone it likely gone!

All about baby - Day 19 - All babies clothes

This isn't even half of it, it's ridiculous! This is a picture from a few weeks ago so his wardrobe looks a bit different now. The first third of the clothes no longer fit so are no longer in there. I have stored some and given some away. He now has more 3-6m vests, babygrows and outfits in there hung up. When we bought our nursery furniture we opted for the cotbed, wardrobe and changing unit bundle which is fab but I also wish we had bought the drawers as it would be a lot handier having his vests in drawers rather than hung up or in baskets.

My Maternity Fashion Tip

I was asked by the lovely Angelique (co-owner and creator of the wonderful Snoob Scarf) to share my top Maternity fashion tip with her readers and mine. So here I am!

Before I was pregnant I was fond of wearing floaty day dresses. I never wore tight fitting dresses and avoided them at all costs as I wasn't happy with my figure. Once I begun showing and my bump began getting bigger and bigger I realised that floaty just didn't work for me any more. Wearing something so loose made me look bigger than I was and didn't really show that I was pregnant. I just looked big and shapeless and it wasn't flattering.

This led me to begin experimenting with my Maternity wardrobe. I didn't want to spend a fortune on maternity wear but I knew I needed a few pieces that would see me through the duration of my pregnancy and beyond. So I begun researching stores which stock fashionable maternity wear.

I came across a striped bodycon dress from Topshop and knew I had to have it. It wasn't my usual style but I knew I had to try something different. Like most high street stores you can only buy their Maternity range online so I bought my regular size and had it delivered to home. My first impressions when it arrived was that it looked far too big and like a sack.

Thankfully I tried it on and fell in love. The dress was everything I was looking for; stylish, the perfect length, stretchy, comfortable, supportive and durable. It cost me around £40 and has been worth it's weight in gold as it has been the staple of my wardrobe for my whole pregnancy.

So my top maternity fashion tip is: Show off your bump and bodycon it!

Baby Wishlist

I have to admit I have gone a little crazy when it comes to buying for our baby. I was buying items for him before I even got my positive pregnancy test! That sounds really crazy I know but I just knew I was pregnant. I have always had that love for all things baby so the minute we started trying to conceive it finally gave me that excuse to spend. He probably won't wear a lot of it and some people may consider it a waste of money but I don't. I really enjoyed buying every little item and what he doesn't use I will donate to charity.

Although we have plenty for the baby already I do have my eye on a few extras. I've put together a little baby wishlist of items I want to buy for our little one.

Owl Sleepsuit / Bear Knitted Hat / Christmas Pudding Jumper / Little Dude Long Sleeve Tshirt / Corduroy Turn Up Trousers

These days there are so many great shops both on the high street and online. If you want something extra special why not treat baby to his or her first designer clothes.

Monnalisa baby clothes stock some beautiful pieces which are are perfect for the the upcoming festive season.
I can see why some parents spend more money on clothes for their children rather than on their own wardrobe and I am guilty of it already.

This is a PR Collaboration.
